The weekly update has been released!
I'm back from my break and it's time for some naughty fun with Viola! There are TWO new naughty events, so try not to wear her out! As well as that, there are numerous bugfixes - I have TRIED to fix the Android issue, but it seems like it's a problem with the game engine, so unfortunately I've had to revert back to an older version of Ren'py. Sorry about that! Still, I hope you enjoy! :)
NOTE:
I will be temporarily switching to a two-week update schedule as I attempt to fix the technical issues with the upgraded Android build, and rework the battle system so it fits in with the rest of the game a lot better. More details on both of those will be coming soon, and if you'd like to hear me talk about them in-depth then make sure to stop by the Discord for my weekly livestream!
CHANGELOG:
- Viola: TWO new naughty events with Viola (just talk to her in the bar after meeting her)! To get the second event just be naughty with her a second time...
- Version: The cutscene bug still isn't fixed in the Android version, and it looks like it's a problem with Ren'py itself. So for now I've reverted back to 7.5.2. All your saves should still work, but I'm ready to upload an 8.1.1 version if anything goes wrong. Sorry about this, everyone!
- Bug: Players could get access to Jessica's car earlier than intended on replays
- Bug: On meeting Lyx in Act Three, MC would reference Molly even though she may not be there. Obviously they are soul-bound through space and time!
- Bug: Some of MC's text was appearing underneath the girls' paperdolls in the rehab centre
- Bug: Fixed a graphical issue that was making MC's right arm show up twice during the meeting with Viola. MC is Eldritch confirmed!?
- Bug: Viola was showing up in her "true(?)" form when visiting the Cosplaytime store. She has now been hidden again!
- Bug: Pregnancy checks were throwing up error messages. Now the only thing throwing up is the expectant mothers! ... gross
- Bug: TypeError when trying to invite Claire on a date at the club has been fixed. That girl certainly knows how to say no!
- Bug: ... and lets it fall. With a sudden movement he darts forwards and, raising his arms wide... enfolds the Dread Arc in a hug.

also...I've gotta admit, the highlight of the new scenes with Viola has gotta be the MC's confusion during the second scene xD

Honestly, I think that's part of what sets this game apart from the rest and makes it so enjoyable: you can tell that fun has been had in the creation process. It's not just an outlet, and that shows in both the writing and gameplay as well as the little tongue-in-cheek note at the bottom of the update patch notes.
I've genuinely enjoyed how whimsical the "typo hero" additions have been and I love knowing that passion transfers across to the entire game

i like this game very well, all cutscenes and animations are smoothly, there is a cool worked out the nature of the characters and this is cool fr, but there is one 'but' i really got scared several times!! in some times like sudden deeds with chastity and 'beast' in the first act, or weird gwen's smile with distorted music made me scared! so this game has many h-cutscenes, but still can be funny, s c a r y and etc. i like this game, but i think i will got heart attack first than i go to the 3 act.

My break and my birthday both went great, thanks (due in no small part to Baldur's Gate 3 releasing on my birthday) and I'm feeling refreshed, recharged and raring to go!

Things are good and bad, at the same time. I don’t know if I can explain this in a way anyone understands.
I kind of feel numb, but at the same time any small action makes me either aggressive, emotional or just a mess in general? I broke my headset and almost started crying, and no, it is not my time of the month.
My ex said that he’s giving me a chance to try to make him like me, which I’m kind of hoping I can manage to do that.
I used to like my best friend, mostly because of this one very sexual interaction we had, in which he sent me some naughty pics while he was drunk, turns out he thought I was his ex, so, not something I’m very happy about.
Overall, money has been tight, but I know it’ll get better.
Still no contact with my father, but I guess I’m alright? Ended up breaking things up with a guy because he already had his whole life planned, and he just kind of expected me to fit into it, like, move with him, so he can maintain me as I give him children? I was not ready to think that fast.

I'm sorry you're not in a great emotional situation right now... I know the place you're describing, where the world seems very small and grey but your negative emotional responses to things are heightened out of all proportion. It's a form of depression, and all I can do is say "this too shall pass".

Not going to lie - that's one of the most toxic, manipulative things I've ever heard. You need people who will support you, not people who will look at your vulnerable emotional state and wonder how it can benefit them.

You liked your friend because of the naughty pictures he sent? Or you liked him until he mistakenly sent the photos? Because the latter is understandable, but the former sounds like you're seeking personal validation and will give affection to people who you think will supply it. And you should never put your happiness in other peoples' hands.
The guy expecting you to behave like a jigsaw puzzle piece for his planned-out life is also highly problematic, so good job on getting out of that! :P
I'm more of a dog person, but cats are very cool too, yes. I just prefer affection to barely-concealed disdain ;)
Cats can be very affectionate too! My cat is probably one of the sweetest creatures ever. He has to hug something, or else he won’t sleep.
Regarding the guy who just wanted me to fit into his life, I ended things with him. We are jus “friends” now, thank god. But he won’t even go to a psychologist, even if he knows he is not okay. His parents actually support him if he wants to go to one, hell, I’d do anything to have a supportive family regarding therapy issues.
The guy with the sexual interaction, I already liked him before that, I do crave validation, and I’m probably not ready for a relationship, so I’m slowing things down.
I started taking some online courses, so, my mind is going somewhere, at least.
My ex is really manipulative sometimes, but other times he can be the best person ever. He has stopped me from ending things off, so many times, even if he says he doesn’t care, I know he does.
I forgot to take my antidepressants yesterday, and I was so dizzy today. Also, go watch Blue Beetle, it’s amazing!

It's good that you ended things, and that you recognize yourself well enough to know that it's necessary to slow things down. You're surrounded by a lot of negative influences, but it's admirable that you can still see through it well enough to not get lost in it :)
The whole "he can be manipulative sometimes but other times he's the greatest" is how manipulation works ;P This is word for word how abused people talk. "He's amazing, and so loving! But I'm really dumb and sometimes I do stupid things that make him lose his temper."
Please don't forget your meds! Set regular alarms on your phone. This stuff is important.

Not sure if this was fixed but every day when you press on prepare for battle and the thing to put a character in war room it throws in a error message (atleast its like that for me)
I haven't had anyone else report that issue... what is the exact error message you're getting? (if you're on PC, please copy the contents of the "traceback.txt" file here so I can take a proper look).

Weapons are kinda already in the game, in that both MC and Gramps have been shot at before. If you mean as part of the battle system, it's getting a rework. No guns for MC but lots of weapons for his opponents!

Hi, good morning, I went to download the new version and when I did the download It was a zip file, it turns out that I ended up losing my progress since the last version, I play on Android and was waiting for this update to start playing again
Itch sometimes packages the .apk file as a .zip for reasons nobody can figure out. The .apk is inside the .zip file, all you need to do is extract it:
