The weekly update has been released!
This week it's the final magic training event of Act Two! And with that, all Act Two stat gains are done. Whoo! Just a few side events, plus the final college stuff, to do now and then it's on to Act Three! Oh, also there's new fan art, a new overlay for the stats page and a whole buncha bug fixes! I hope you enjoy! :)
CHANGELOG:
- Lyx: New love event!
- Magic Training: Level EIGHT training available!
- Fan Art: Two fan artworks by SHIHEX added to the gallery!
- Stats: Added a hints overlay to the Stats screen
- Stats: Removed the "X boxes aren't available in this version" overlay, since all Act Two stats are max-able now!
- Cheats: Updated the "Gallery Cheat" in the laptop - it should unlock all the scenes properly now!
- Bug: Changing what Luna calls you will now work when she's Shattered
- Bug: What Luna calls you will no longer reset to default when loading a save file
- Bug: MC was speaking in Python code. He's becoming self-aware! Shut it down! Shut it all down!
- Bug: The Rinkos will now call you by your chosen title during your night-time threesome fun
- Bug: I can hear the typos outside the door. Scratching... clawing... it won't be long now...

Hey Arc, can you get the Gwen Marriage quirk yet? I got damaged and was wondering if the reverse would do that one?
Actually, IF ANY of the quirks are going to be REMOVED PERMANENTLY in Act 3…
Would you mind listing how to get the ones that can be permanently missed before that point?
I figured Annies would have popped for me, among a few others so I’m not sure.
I almost missed Gwen’s by shutting off the option just to shut her up, then ended up getting a real laugh out of it at the end lol.
Before Act Three occurs I will definitely create some sort of indicator as to whether or not the Quirks are Act Two or Act Three only :) Not all of them are in the game yet, but they'll be a big priority once the college stuff is largely put to bed.

Good stuff my friend, by far one of the better VN I have ever came across, which is pretty sad since I purchased alot from steam and such. Especially since i’m not particular toward the animated style…it takes a unique style in all aspects to pull me into one.
Another dev (with a great VN as well) put his links in a steam update causing me to stumble across the treasure trove on itch (god bless him lol)…where I found better for free if you were broke or donation if you had access to a card to do it.
Ever since, I never bothered on those platforms unless its to support a dev who didn’t get greedy halfway through the process.
Nothing is more of a con than taking away a last chapter or such with no notice until it dropped (::cough:: A Petal with many coins), I just walk away and never look back…the dev I mentioned before actually got in trouble for not charging here as well and had to change the fact–but he gave time for everyone already playing to grab it free first haha. That takes class.
For the record I’ve read enough on the post(s) to know thats not a concern with your game and I wasn’t saying anything in that regard, just stating my experience and spite for that kind of move.
One way or another at some point I will definitely be giving something back for the great work and the consistency of keeping me entertained on nearly a weekly basis, you ca be sure of that…but I respect the fact that you always leave it as a donation only basis and that was the point I wanted to make.
Not only is it a great game in every aspect, you actually care about the people playing and the dev is just as important as the content to me personally.
I will be following your trail (like the beast lol) for as long as you stay in the gamers nexus and you don’t get absorbed by the green eyed beast 😉
I barely post on these sites but your humor and player interaction got me talking easily. If you build it, they will cum…and be forced to wash their shorts with cash in the pockets haha.
Keep it real Arc…you have more potential in this ‘game’ than I think even you realize. The Dev makes the game, not the other way around in more than one way.

This game is incredibly fun! I play as a nicer guy through this (with a couple of big exceptions), and I have had a blast with all of the different things one can do in this game. Lyx is absolutely hilarious. I love that she's a "witch" FOR SCIENCE! with bombs on the brain! I just want to cuddle and hold most of the girls.
A question: will there be a way in act 3 to either permanently silence or "train" Chloe's outbreak? I don't mind the bimbo too much, but I want to make the outbreak "mine" so to speak. I feel like that could be accomplished using the dungeon...
One more question: I keep seeing a list of ways to unlock the little grayed-out titles on the heart cards, but I lose it in the comments. Are they all currently unlockable? I understand Morgana wouldn't be yet, and I have done a few of them for the other characters, but some of them I don't understand (or can't figure out) how to get. I'm wondering if those have to wait for act 3.

As to your questions:
Chloe: A big part of her storyline going forward will be whether you can (or should) undo what you did to her. And, if you don't, what can be done to silence, train or convince the remaining piece of Chloe that's still in there.
Quirks: They're not all unlockable, currently, but most of them will be available before the end of Act Two. I'll be trying to get as many of them plugged in as quickly as possible over the next few weeks.

First off I just want to say I love everything about this game so far. It's really fun and the story is so damn good!
But I was just wondering if, in the future, you had any plans to add more scenes/content with Hana? Or is her story finished? Anyways, keep up the great work!
Edit: As another question, how do I unlock Gwen's Harley outfit and Jessica's Dimitrescu outfit? I can't find anything online and it's driving me insane!
How to find gwen and jessica's outfit is to buy the dungeon(you have to own the manor first) after buying the dungeon wait till evening and go to the dungeon and you will unlock the the outfits and there also will be a a scene

Hana will have a few more scenes, but she's a side girl so she won't have as much content as the main girls. It largely depends on player demand and personal inspiration.
To unlock Gwen and Jessica's Hallowe'en outfits you need to own the Manor and the Dungeon upgrade. Then make sure you've placed all the Hallowe'en decorations in your room (Coffin bed, jack o' lantern on the table and the witch poster) then go to the dungeon any evening :)
I gotta ask, was the MC actually spurting out python code? hahaha.
I can easily see it happening, extra quotation mark here, missing one there. The fact it got past the engine is almost as scary as a human beast.
These bug reports keep me entertained the entire download nearly every time, but (thankfully, I suppose) I always miss the bugs…this game is going to need a gag-reel after your done lol.

Loving this game, would donate if my finances weren't crap and I didn't have to be a responsible adult.
My only issue so far is making the beast take a humanoid form. Before it had a Lovecraft "fear of the unknown" horror to it where we never see what it looks like but eyes, teeth and tentacles. Like if we ever saw more then what was always hidden, the MC would lose thier mind. It lost a lot of that for me when it started taking a more familiar shape.
But if that's the ONLY thing I can think of worth pointing out after 2 years, then you're doing a good job

Well, not like we'd ever get to see much, as showing said eldritch monstrosity would be rather counterproductive as the medium can't even begin an attempt at properly conveying what we're supposed to see
(engine limitations)So the only thing we get is an evil grin, many eyes and tentacles...
Not that scary after a bit.
The new form isn't that scary either.
At times it almost looks silly.
But think about it from the perspective of the protagonist.
This incomprehensible being that's always trying to hunt you down has started to change, turning into... well... you.
You don't get to see the MC often, due to the POV-ish nature of the game.
But there is no mistake, the beast is trying to turn into you.
As to why it's doing it?
Well...

What Cursed said :) Take care of yourself and your loved ones first and foremost! The financial support from people is lovely (and incredibly humbling) but so long as people are playing my game and enjoying it, that's the most important thing to me.
As for the Beast taking humanoid shape, it was something I wrestled with myself for a long time, actaully. But it's necessary for a whole bunch of things that happen later, and is actually a bit of lore hint too, so a necessary sacrifice, I'm afraid!
There's still more Eldritch Horror hiding in the wings, though... ;)

The X marks are gone for all the act two stats.
The yellow ones (much like the 5th heart in the girl's cards) are locked until somewhere in act 3.
