Yes, the game is being remade. Arc said this was due to issues in the code that caused an overwhelming amount of bugs to show up with each update. But I don’t think it makes sense to conclude that this remake is going to be completely unrecognizable from the old version just based off of the content from the demo. While the game does take place on an island now, and Jessica and Emma’s roles have been tweaked, we know nothing about any of the other characters, locations, or story beats yet.
If the content update drops and it turns out that the other characters and locations are also changed, then yeah I think people would have a right to be upset. But I can’t really imagine that being the case because one, Arc has been open to feedback and said everything from the previous version would be in the new one. And two, if you’re remaking a free game that’s only funded by donations, I can’t imagine what the benefit would be to not use the existing characters/text/story/assets you spent years making and that you already know people liked.
I’m optimistic and expecting there won’t be too much else that we’ll have to get used to. But we’ll see what ends up happening when the content update drops.

From what i am seeing, this game is in a similar situation to Evermore.
The dev decided to remake the entire game into something else and looses 80% of the original audience.

So this is getting a reboot, does this mean it will be like Summertime Saga, where it'll take decades for the reboot to catch up to the content we had in the original version? It's a bit disappointing to know that after waiting for a year we will get an update that gives us less content than we already had (unless I'm misunderstanding something)
Unlike summertime saga the update schedule will go back to normal and arcs reversing the design changes as per a poll (we all knew they sucked tbh)
Just a heads up, the game got "remaked". More like Demaked it's completely ass,dev destroyed his chars and history for a hard reset crash grabbing theft.
Honestly it seems to have become more interactive beyond a simple story driven game. Though I'm worried about the redesigns(I liked Emma's former design better), Overall it's had a unique turn.
True it might have changed TOO much for some people's likings, but I have high hopes for this.

Well Arc said all the mind control content is getting reworked because of the payment processor situation, so regardless if you like the new models or not, it is effectively a demake. Taking the "corrupted" out of "corrupted kingdoms". It's not Arc's fault either which is the shitty part but for a lot of players that type of content was the main selling point.
Which is the last uncensored/un-remade version for this story?
The one on this page also that's a blatant lie about the mind control content also I thought he didn't care to change the story changing mind control content would massively change the story so he'd better do a poll anyways he should have reworked the code instead of making a new game or reworked the game from the ground up

The game is still being updated, Arc was just busy working on a total remake of the game. It should release for free before the end of the month. Or, you can look for it on sites like Socigames.

For those still confused, Arc recently released the tutorial section for the new version of the game for members on SubscribeStar. It has 20-40ish minutes of gameplay and is intended to get player feedback and make sure the game's new systems are running smoothly before he adds all of the other new content on top of them. The BIG content update and a public release will happen in a few weeks, with future builds releasing monthly after that.
This new version has very significant changes from the old game though, with character redesigns, changes in the setting, etc. A lot of people said it was too different from what they liked about the old game, but Arc's been very open to feedback and said that "Everything you know and love from the old version will be in the new version", so it will probably just take a little getting used to.

Well, I have good news for you. He did a poll on if some of the things changed should be kept or reverted, and the "Bring back Jessica's Previous Proportions" option has a huge lead.

The new release of arts corrupted kingdom is good. The design for Emma now is cool. Same with jessica the noses, they gotta go or at least just get somehow refined. That aside, I'm curious on what the others are gonna look like. You get to see our yandere girl and Emma, Jessica is in the tutorial. Starting out but I can't lie the fresh start out for your choices is instead of justice or revenge. You get to third option. Can't lie pretty nice and Van, the fact that you have to give your ID. And apparently, it's the institute now. Not the organization I'm super curious because now they got the soldiers out and about among the public. As the security and whatnot, and then you get a little taste a little teaspoon of what's to come apparently were on a high priority observation list.

Chin up bro, it's not all bad. The new overhaul is generally good, at least for right now, with the introduction to everything. The noses on the characters in my opinion are horrendous, but the UI and everything its seeming pretty promising in maps, I mentioned, you start out already being somewhat harassed by the organization. But in this one, they're called the institute so it's not bad arc is stale out here? Cooking, still out here doing this thing. Especially nowadays with how many good promising games are being abandoned or outright? Updated only once a year and that's when the devs need money. Yeah, Arc's one of the good few along with, harem hotel.

Not gonna lie, dropping a reboot after over a year of waiting wasn't a great choice, but I was at least interested in seeing where it went.
Then I played it, and nah, this ain't it.
It's like watching Disney get ahold of one of Grimm's Fairy Tales. The dark, mysterious atmosphere has been replaced with bright, vibrant colors with all the edges sanded off.
The story I was invested in is gone, and I'd be lying if I said I was excited to have to start all over again given how long it took us to get to this point.

That's what I was thinking too. But still the noses and the new overhaul for the new version of CK i know it's a complete overhaul for the old style. But the noses are killing me. You cannot sit here and tell me the noses are not ugly. That and that Jessica completely just became this cold by the book lady. I don't even want to know what happened to the rest of the crew. Hopefully our girl pixie is still there. but can't lie the fact that art changed it from a city or town town to a island it seems like a fresh breath of air

She still looks cute honestly. Its a big departure from the old more anime-like artstyle for something more realistic, and I agree that noses are often hard to make attractive, but from what I've seen they look more like regular people.

I have played It, no spoilers, just a warning that EVERYTHING is different. So far it's awesome gameplay wise.
Has the art or the story changed in any significant way ? Does one need to make a new save in order to fully enjoy the latest update ?
The art is still 3d, but the town has been changed into an island. The UI has been changed, the story seems to be the same concept but executed differently. Some characters (notably Emma) have been completely changed (she now has massive tits and looks like an extrovert). The map is completely different now, forcing you to only move between places adjacent to eachother.
Personally i dont like it, its too much change compared to the original.
I'm rather partial to the old as well, knowing what it was has this new version giving uncanny vibes. However I'm not of little faith, I will continue my support of this new endeavor, it may yet blossom into a greatness surpassing the original. Aaaand if my faith is misplaced I can just go happily fap to the original that I still have.

I still have all my saves, but I sadly didn’t back up the game itself. EDIT: With original version I mean the last version before that one update of the models to make em wardrobe compatible that broke old saves.

strange thing happening with the UI where I can't read the entirety of the options when you are given a choice. The UI cuts off on the right side too early and so I can't see the entirety of the text. It doesn't seem like there are any settings I can use to change that

Well, the devs, got to understand that I like having updates. So even if it is just a message saying AT WORK, I wish they'd post something here. Best reasons are to know their alive and still working.
Anyways, hope they are safe and able to work in piece on the next update. It has been a while. I want to spend more time with my kids.
I've encountered a bug on the windows build at the beginning of the game, just after meeting morgana, the text "...or else I'm going to spend the rest of my life learning how to roll over and play dead for a dryad..." the screen after this turns black and will not move forward, there is also a fast pace beeping like when a character is talking, I cannot access the save menu from this screen however I am still able to rollback and access said menu from the screen before, I hope this helps and any advice would be appreciated :)
After setting the game to windowed mode and clicking around the screen it seems to have fixed itself and moved on :)
After watching Arc's recent stream on Twitch, I am very excited for the big update. I think all the new features he showcased are very cool, and he didn't even show a that many of them according to him, which means there's loads more cool features coming that we don't even know about. And while I am curious about the release date, I understand and have understood for a long time now that rushing the devs is stupid. I agree with everyone who says to let Arc take his time, to stop rushing him, because I want a high quality game and story, not something rushed. You can't rush art and expect quality. Art takes time. I have been a fan of Corrupted Kingdoms for a long time, and I don't want to see it fall to something dumb like trying to rush it to completion.
By the way, I love Jessica's new design. She looks badass and sexy. It just looks higher quality overall. It's a huge upgrade in my opinion. I hope for more upgrades like that. I think Madison especially needs an upgrade, her model looked kinda weird to me in my first playthrough. But maybe that's just me, I don't know.

I agree with you there. But the nose is killing me. The change for Emma, this is good too. But like I said, the nose is killing me that and the fact that they changed her body type. It's kind of a win.
I don't care how long it takes the dev to update the game, with how many 18+ games have completely stopped development I'm happy there's still games in the making

HHG hasn't been updated in 3 years, to me that is not the definition of going strong. Doesn't matter to me if the dev is "still working", better and more complicated games by solo devs have done it far better and far faster.

I did used to follow Discord. I even used to support the Patreon. The fact of the matter is it hasn't been updated in 3 years. I don't care anymore; the game isn't that good and the dev is trash. Cope harder while he milks, idc.
