This week the story begins to kick off once again in a major way! New leads, new events and new plans begin to emerge! From this point onwards each update will be heavily story focused as things move towards the final confrontations with the Faction Leaders! Also, some more lore has been re-instituted and maybe Kana will feel better soon..? I hope you enjoy! :)
CHANGELOG:
- CLAIRE: Talk to Claire to unlock a new Warmap route to the cafe (this also unlocks the currently-locked Org/Fey locations on the east side of the map so you can visit them again)!
- LYX & VIOLA: First interaction between Lyx and Viola! Must have met Viola and spoken to Lyx about the Flying Bar. Then just enter the Flying Bar!
- FLYING BAR: Will now appear even if Lily is gone! Just get into at least one fight (if you've already been in a fight then that counts) and then sleep!
- FLYING BAR: New Lead! (Talk to Lyx)
- BRIDGE: New Lead! (Go to the Bridge and select "Explore the River")
- KANA: New Lead! (Talk to Lyx)
- LOMEG: New Lead! (Talk to Claire then talk to Lyx)
- DHENA: New Lead! (Visit Dhena's cave then talk to Lyx)
- NEW LOCATION: The Glade! Go to the Manor Garden and click on "Look Around"! (This is actually kind of an old location, from way back in the days of the original battle system. But now it has its own map!)
- NEW LOCATION: Ruined Farm! Located on the Town Map (nothing to do there just yet)!
- MAP: Added SHOPS and CAFE back to the Town Map (nothing to do there just yet)!
- MAP: Changed the battle map overview so that the location links are clearer and less squiggly
- MAP: Changed a couple Faction flags so that the Faction owners made more sense
- LEADS: Changed the graphics for the Leads to make them less "lumpy", and adjusted the text position better
- Bug: A sneaky mention of Patreon remained in the game. I did to it what Patreon tried to do to the kids
- Bug: Typos fixed! Wait... where did the Kid Detectives go..?

Hey I initially found the game through another upload site but found the discord and other websites to start engaging more in it! Wanted to ask if anyone has had the issue of an invalid syntax (game/script/a3_ manor_westhall.rpy, line 348). Been having issues trying to get to the claire scene to get the east side of the map unlocked without getting similar errors on these scenes. My assumption is corrupt saves and since I started on a third party website I might have to start from scratch.
just realized this is an old sub-column and that its just gotta be fixed in the next patch after reading up in bug reports. my bad :(
I do have one question, how long between updates is the main story and side updates happens
I don't understand the question, sorry. Updates are every two weeks and each one contains mostly story and some side/fun/wholesome events. The ratio changes based on how much I'm able to get done and how complex the events are.
where can I talk to Claire? i keep knocking on the door yet she won't appear
If you have Emma in the manor, check her room.
You may need to do it a few times.

So I can't recall if I ever spoke to Lyx about the bar and I've checked the hallways multiple times at all times of the day and she won't pop up, have I messed something up or am I missing something?
Then you haven't unlocked Lyx in Act Three. Just keep playing :)

i already go to emma room at afternoon. but theres no indication of i can go to the cafe. also i already talk to lyx about kana but she isnt in the farm

where do i find claire? ive had the scene where she has a fight with pixie in the morning but shes never in her room (apparently somewhere else but idk where)

Its great how much content this game currently has and how consistent the updates are despite being a single developer and the setbacks (patreon) and the game still has monthly updates. i recently got a new pc and ended up having to restart all of my progress and its taking me a while, my appreciation for this game and respect for the developer has leveled up entirely!

I am pretty much enjoying the game despite replaying it, and noticing the updates in the early game is fun as well. a lot of devs don't like to update the early part of their games and usually focus on late/end game content. (i dont think im talking about nsfw story games anymore d: ) although with the consistent updates you deserve a break, i still havent caught up to act 3 yet! (its probably because im busy doing stupid stuff like throwing walnuts at squirrels, feeding random dogs peanut butter and playing xbox games)![]()

In this update? You go to the hallway and talk to her. If she's not appeared yet then keep playing.
This update is just more proof that Lyx is the greatest goblin ever. And I have met a LOT of goblins throughout my life.

Patreon, for all their faults, never tried to get frisky with the kids. Just tried to kill them. Which isn't necessarily better, but at least it's different..? :P

How many leads do you plan to work on in the next couple of updates?
As many as I can at once without making each one too watered down and pointless. Because I'm a solo dev that comes down partly to how much work each lead requires and how much work I have to do outside of the game (tech support, bugfixing, maintenance, livestreams, etc.)
why can't I buy the elixirs? They're all locked. Also the locations after the bridge :c
Do you have enough Ichor to afford an elixir? Might need to find some (search around the bridge).
As for the locations after the bridge... did you talk to Claire?
