The weekly update has been released!
This week it's a new love event for Lyx, a new Power and a new naughty scene! Also a number of bugs squashed, including a particularly nasty one. Also, a minor rewrite to a previous scene, for reasons of silliness mostly. I hope you enjoy! :)
CHANGELOG:
- Lyx: New LOVE event!
- New Power: HIDDEN VOICES can now be learned! (Currently limited to the college - trying it anywhere else will result in errors! It will be expanded in each update. Let me know whose mind you'd like to read the most!)
- Magic Training: Level FIVE training available!
- Cheats: Updated the laptop cheat with the latest Gallery unlocks
- Misc: Slightly rewrote the previous magic training event to address some criticisms and also because I felt like being silly
- Bug: Fixed a bug when using Aura on the basketball girls that was preventing rollback and causing save games to revert back to the point just before you used Aura. Thank you to Cursed for helping to track the issue down!
- Bug: You couldn't complete the latest Magic training if you hadn't advanced the Fey lead. Fixed now!
- Bug: Fixed a graphical issue with a render in the previous Magic training event
- Bug: Fixed the wrong church background showing up when you were in Act One
- Bug: Fixed being able to use Aura on the basketball girls before your authority was high enough

It's funny doing the hidden voices outside the college. It feels like Lyx is stalking you from the shadows.
But that's crazy... right...? (Cue ominous music!)
FYI the count of times you read minds appears to be broken (at least for me, using android) I got the messages for 1,2,3 and 4 but not for attempt 5. Tried reloading an older save and on that i don't get any of those attemp count notifications so it appears the game halfway thinks I already read 5 minds yet still keeps me at "what do I need to do again?" with lyx
It might be because you reloaded midway through reading minds - the counting variable is persistent (a limitation of the engine) until you complete the quest and so reloading doesn't reset the variable count.
Android phones have a huge amount of different specs and different manufacturers have overlays and apps that can conflict with other apps. Try using safe mode and see if it boots, if it does there then its something on the phone breaking it. But keeping something working on all devices is something that requires a lot of man hours and resources, and this is made by 1 guy so.

Just click on the Heart icon in the top-right of the screen, click on Jessica, then look at the "HINT:" box in the bottom-right. That will tell you what you need to do :)

hey there, been loving this game i believe the past year and a half-ish time frame, I remember when it was the version still in the single digits lol. so weird thing is, both versions 12.8 and 12.9 has me stuck in limbo. Jessica is a no show and she is needed to advance the story line. thought it was an issue with the version but when I downloaded version 12.9 I restarted the whole game and its the same situation...
before you ask, I had to rebuild my OS on my old laptop so my persistance files are gone and wasnt able to continue from previous saves.
Is it me or the version has a bug of some kind?
You mean she won't show up at the start of the game? If so, you may not have tried to talk to Emma in her room in the evening (evening specifically - morning and afternoon won't work)
