The weekly update has been released!
I had a stinking head cold this week so it’s mostly setup stuff this time – focused on The Beast! Yes, your Eldritch pursuer is going to enjoy a lot more screentime going forward. Yay? There’s also a new Qarinah daydream, too! Plus, lots and lots of fixes and polishes! I hope you enjoy! :)
Note: I will be taking my once-every-two-months break next week, so the next Patron/Sub update will be on the 2nd of May!
CHANGELOG:
- Beast: A new Beast event! You have to have Magic at 4 or higher and go to sleep (alone) in your room
- Beast: You now have a 10% chance to encounter the Beast in certain locations at night. It does not go well for you
- Qarinah: New naughty event! (MAID DAYDREAM) Go to the Manor Garden and select “Daydream”
- Misc: Shifted the requirement for Chloe’s naughty “Fey Form” option to a later point to make more sense
- Bug: You can no longer interact with the Twins and their Mom at the Manor pool in the evening
- Bug: Shifted the Pool Twins’ mom under Jessica on the overlay so her hair won’t get in Jess’s mouth!
- Bug: You can no longer get Kana pregnant if you haven’t unlocked the Nexus yet
- Bug: Arrested and… “corrected”… a rogue typo

I really wanted to play this game... but it doesn't work on my phone ;'(
I remember it was a great game, maybe the best game I've ever played that made me feel impressed...
Creator is there any way to make it compatible with the Samsung A12? If it's not asking too much. ;)
Unfortunately, issues with compatibility are entirely down to the SDK (Ren'py in this case), which I have zero control over. You'd have to head over to the Ren'py github, report the issue and hope that PyTom can fix it (https://github.com/renpy/renpy/issues)
That being said, the problem may not be with comp[atibility. Have you tried:
1. Restarting your phone (sounds stupid, but it fixes 90% of reported problems)
2. Freeing up 5-6GB+ storage space? Android has this weird thing about needing up to four times the available space as the actual app requires.
3. Using an app like JoiPlay (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cyou.joiplay.joiplay&hl=en_GB&gl=U...) to run the Windows version on your phone

I tried the tips above and the final verdict was the same, it came out on its own.
But I contacted Ren'py support and got a reasonable solution, but according to the creator he needs you to give him some information about the game, is there a problem with that? It would be great if I had your help if it's not too busy for you.
I’m not THE dev of this game, but I am A developer myself…so I am NOT answering for him personally, but I can likely say its not going to happen.
First off though, you may want to update your post with your Android Version rather than just the name of your phone.
Should be under ‘settings’ / ‘system’ usually, then ‘about phone’, ‘update’, or simply ‘Android/Android Version’ depending on how old the phone actually is.
Its been a while since I touched any Android Programming, but I suggest you give him your “Android Version” for sure, and you may want to include the “Kernel Version” (could be wrong, never got into Droid much).
Second, and the bad news…even with the little Android Programming that I did do (mainly because of this), there are, or were, at least 20+ versions of Android.
With each new release things are added and deprecated (no longer used), so to modify a game well under way would likely be more costly in a time sense than it would be worth…and its likely the Graphical or Renpy itself that was the deciding factor for the Android Version being used.
I don’t know how Renpy works on Android (idk at all really), but if I was the Dev I would likely choose to send you a free phone (obviously not happening) before dealing with going backwards in Android versions in all honesty lol.
Its just that much of a pain, sad to say…I can’t see them fulfilling this request–but again, I am NOT the developer of the game so don’t take my answer as a fact.

My phone is a Samsung A12 (Android 12)There was a cell phone that I could play this game on so I think it works on Android 6.
From what little I could find, it should work on Android 6, but thats not officially from Arcs pages so you may want to reply directly to him and ask (so he gets notified)
As long as your updated your right about the version you have, ironically the A12 shipped with Android 10 haha.
I play on PC and don’t have the space for a test run, what I can tell you is make sure your download is approx. 1.19 - 1.20 GB
Itch has a weird habit of interrupting mobile data downloads and them resuming which sometimes leaves you with half the file AND a second full copy at least on Windows.
Not really my area of expertise. I know more about the pain of the dev kit than I do about playing games on my phone.
I’m still running Android 8 just to keep my real Keyboard and avoid touch screen lol.
CursedFlame or Arc will have a much better answer for you here, they both know more about the Android version than I do.

If the APK is failing to work on your phone still. You could always install joiplay from Google play. It allows you to run games like this easily. Just remember it requires a renpy plugin which is also available from Google play (last I checked atleast).
You'll need the pc version (extracted) saved on your phone memory aswell. Bonus is once extracted and tested its working on joiplay you can remove the compressed file.
joiplay needs the exe file for Windows to run. The help files are available online.

Question regarding Kana (my PC is gonna be down for a day or two), what if you ALREADY had a child before the nexus?
Should I Nexus the Kid first before updating? hahaha.
Actually on that note could you (or anyone) tell me who CANT get prego and why?
I can’t seem to get Lily, Pixie, and a few others pregnant even with Super Fertility even though I meet the requirements.
I also can’t get Veronica to the beach even though I’ve had a child with her already, but Madison will come for some reason.
On a last BUG note - on this very page (most pages, except maybe the main one), if your not in ‘Landscape’ mode the text “Windows, Android, Mac” goes directly over the main text at the top.
Enjoy the time off, sucks you feel like crap during it…I know that feeling all too well.

1. If you had a child before officially unlocking the Nexus then you're fine - you probably just got a bit of a confusing scene when MC met the Artifact and seemed to know how the Nexus worked before he'd ever seen it.
2. The only main characters who CAN'T get pregnant right now are: Chloe, Gwen, Lyx and Morgana. All the others have pregnancy options.
3. I haven't created a beach event for Veronica yet. Not everyone will get one - it depends on player demand and how I feel on any given week :P
4. Thanks for the bug report - Itch's UI tools aren't super comprehensive but I'll see if I can tweak it

Lily and Pixie have the same requirements as anyone else, so it's weird if they're not working for you. Requirements are:
1. Have to be at love level 4
2. Have to have unlocked the Nexus
3. Cannot have a baby OR kid in the daycare currently
4. Cannot currently be pregnant
5. You must have pregnancy turned on in Preferences (turning it off freezes all pregnancy progress)
If all of those requirements are fulfilled and you're still not able to impregnate them then send me your latest save file and I'll poke around in it and see what I can find :)
Appreciate it, I haven’t tried since unlocking the Nexus IIRC so I’ll try again when I can.
My PC is on ice right now due to a ‘minor’ (kill me) typo while using diskpart causing me to format a 6TB partition I swap between all my drives instead of an SD card lmao.
I’m restoring it all since something unexplainable went wrong and I can’t recover the partition itself.
By the time your back from your break (if you ever leave heh) I may take you up on that.
The Nexus was the only possible factor, and I had met artifact…just never spoke to Morgana, I believe you mentioned a bug involving that scenario.
I had no way to REACH the Nexus after that point last I tried to get either pregnant if memory serves me.
So if that shouldn’t prevent either Lily or Pixie, then I have an issue.
Two actually, no clue how to send you the save file haha.
If the Nexus ‘Map’ is actually required for both of them, I’ll have to get back to you once this unrealistically slow process is done since I can’t interrupt it.
I do have my most recent saves on my phone, but I can’t try again with the Nexus map available right now.
If you think I hit a glitch with that long winded list of information, just let me know how to send the latest save (or folder) in the easiest way for you and I will.
I do appreciate it…just don’t waste your break hunting down my prego issue, I think I’ll survive with a few missing rugrats for a little bit :)~

The Morgana bug was a short-lived issue that was cleared up ages ago so you should be good to progress from that point once you're back up and running again.
Saves can be found in your "game/save" folder and use "page-save number" formatting. Just fish out the latest one and shoot it to me if you find you still can't get the girls pregnant :)
