The weekly update has been released!
This week it's more Jackie and a LOT of fixes! With those out of the way the road is now clear for a hopefully final push on side content before getting to Act Three! Exciting Also, more chances to make babies and a shortcut to Samantha's apartment! I hope you enjoy! :)
CHANGELOG:
- Jackie(?): Cosplay Fashion! You can now get Jackie(?) to pose in her normal outfit!
- Jackie(?): You can now be naughty with Jackie(?) in her normal outfit!
- Jackie(?): Some new dialogue lines for Jackie(?)
- Apartment: You can now unlock Samantha's apartment on the Town Map! No more having to go via EXPLORE! Just visit the apartment to trigger the map unlock
- Pregnancy: Some naughty scenes didn't give you the opportunity to impregnate the girls. Now they do! YOU get a baby! And YOU get a baby!
- College: Pool Twins and Basketball girls didn't get new dialogue when you maxed out your Authority. Now they do!
- Misc: Replaced the "???" property cards with blank placeholder cards to avoid confusing people, since those properties aren't available yet. Thanks to CursedFlame91 for the graphic!
- Bug: New sound system had some bugs (of course) with endlessly-repeating audio. No more torture! So long as you tell me what I want to know...
- Bug: Some people thought the new animations were a bit fuzzy. They have been shaved. I mean updated. Yes... updated...
- Bug: A few graphical/display bugs have been fixed (ghost festival, third mother meeting and Nexus button in the bunker)
- Bug: Typo Hero clings to the voice, pulling himself from the dark mire of unconsciousness... the voice... his childhood friend's voice... all this time he'd thought she was dead, but no... she was really only deaf!

Well, the burning building is tied to Roxy's storyline.
If you progress her story, at some point you'll have to go around town and investigate the building.
That's how you make the burning building become the no-longer-burning building

When the first drafts were shown I thought she was going to be a shy girl that was a closet pervert, but I wasn't really expecting this.
I mean, I guess you could use her full name as some sort of hint, but it might not be quite that.
I really enjoyed the visuals during the new max authority scene's, the lighting and animation was really wel done

Arcadean, your game is wonderful for its category and I appreciate that you are concerned about continuous delivery, always providing us new content with new side girls and stuff, but... I feel like it is time to keep going with the main story? I mean, I suppose you still have plenty of acts planned to keep working on?
You're not the only one to feel that way, but it's not something Arc can really do.
Scheduling issues, he rushed the main story progression back then and now all he has left is side content.
Regarding act 2, of course.
The very next step in the main story progression is raiding the church, which will trigger the transition into act 3.
From what I've read, in act 3 "shit will go down", to the point that most if not all things you could do in act 2 won't be available anymore, at least not in the same way.
So Arc has to wrap up the side content in act 2 before moving on, because it wouldn't make much sense for him to keep working on act 2 content while the main story is in act 3.
Also it's just 3 acts.
After act 3 is just an epilogue.
Act 1 was the intro.
Act 2 is the buildup.
Act 3 is where it all goes down.

I'd love to get on to Act Three - I have so many plans for it! But unfortunately I underestimated both the amount and demand for side content in Act Two and so I have to get through all of that before I can move on to Act Three (which, yes, is where shit will go down, rendering the vast majority of Act Two content unavailable)
I am doing my best to get through it all as quickly as possible, though, even to the point of pushing some planned Act Two content into Act Three. I'm actually beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel!

Arc has a peculiar way to word things I'm afraid. Often leads to confusion.
No, if any girls that didn't have pregnancy content and now did, then it would be a very detailed point in the changelog.
What this one meant is that a couple of sex scenes with the girls (that currently can get pregnant) wouldn't allow you to impregnate them.
Which was a bit weird that some would and some wouldn't, so that was fixed.

Not sure how I feel about CK being an afterthought to the Typo Hero adventures, but I'm glad they're entertaining for you! ;)

The updates are great and i love them but im wondering when will Pixies real name be revealed, at the start it was said that usually a feys partner is the only one who knows the real name and since we as the protagonist have a kid with Pixie i think its reasonable to assume we should know her name but seing as the game is probably just starting its second half it will be revealed later.
It was said that usually nobody knows a Fey's true name, as it allows you complete and total control over their very being. Ie. you could remake them on an atomic level, or erase them from existence with a thought.
It's extremely rare for a Fey to share their true name with anyone, and is the sign of ultimate love and trust. Maybe Pixie will get there one day, but not soon. And almost certainly not in CK1. Maybe the sequels... ;)
Sequels??
Sequels are planned, but nothing has been set in stone yet.
This universe is too interesting to just throw it away after this game ends.
So new stories will happen in it, probably with a different protagonist.
Although the very next game after CK is done won't be a CK sequel, the one after the not-CK game might be.
What Cursed said :) I have a few ideas and drafts for CK2 and CK3 but nothing definite yet. The next game I make won't be CK2, because I need a little break from CK, but will almost certainly be set in the same universe (so no characters from CK, but a few references and easter eggs).
I do have the title for CK2 already, though, thanks to a player on Discord ;)

She's in the same building that used to be on fire (where you find Lil' Roxy). Go to "EXPLORE" on the town map, and enter West > North > West
no if i talk to her she said you talked to jackie yet when i am asking where's Samantha's key
Is there a way to get normal jackie?
In the next update, released on Monday for Patrons/Subs and Thursday for everyone else :)

Great job with the updates as always, even though work has kept me too busy to play the latest updates it's always a pleasure to see all the new stuff that's been added every week. I'm so hyped for all the stuff I'll be able to do once I'm free and I can experience all the updates at once!
