Weekly Update: v0.17.1 - Leave the Manor!
The weekly update has been released!
In this update you can leave the Manor! Yes, at long last you can escape! Only the bar is available right now to visit, but more locations will be added with every update! Also, find out what happened to Lily, new dialogue with Ard & Hana as well as Lucille! I hope you enjoy! :)
NOTE: I've had to rebuild a lot of underlying code to prepare for upcoming features and events, so if you have any weird issues try going to your room and sleeping - that should fix them!
CHANGELOG:
- World: You can now leave the Manor! Only one location right now (the bar), but more added in every update!
- Lily: Find out what happened to Lily!
- Ard/Hana: New dialogue options in the kitchen!
- Lucille: New dialogue! Find her in the EAST HALLWAY on MONDAY MORNING!
- Lucille: Moved her random bath event to a GUARANTEED event on MONDAY AFTERNOON! I capitalise this in the vain hope that people will actually read it and stop reporting "can't find Lucille" as a bug...
- Paperdolls: New paperdolls for Ard, Hana and Lucille!
- Bug: There was a graphical glitch when calling Emma sometimes that would erase people in the background! They will no longer flicker in and out of reality
- Bug: Added an extra variable check so people who recycled Ami won't be haunted by her ghost. Even though you deserve it
- Bug: Fixed a very obscure bug with the Empty Vase decoration easter egg that was throwing people back in time. Guys! I think we invented time travel!
- Bug: If a girl was pregnant before you entered the Act Two Finale they would give birth in Act Three, which is a long pregnancy for an Artifact-infused baby!
- Bug: In the first "Queen Qarinah" event, Qarinah would occasionally forget she was in her Queen Aspect
- Bug: Typo Hero is ushered to a seat by the waiter, who offers him a menu. After much deliberation, Typo Hero chooses the boar, medium rare. Unfortunately, when served, this proves to be a boar in the throes of medium rage. Uh-oh!

Wait you can have Lucille in the manor? I feel like a missed a big opportunity. Guess I'm starting over xD. I thought I'd done everything but I guess there's still more.
okay, but i did have lucille at the manor, and she not only doesn't show up in the bathroom, but i can't find her anywhere in the mansion ... was there a quest line i missed? or is this an actual bug/glitch/whatever you want to call it? if it is this fixed in a later patch?
edit: also if it helps, when i go to the east hallway it has the same "i could invite people to live here" dialogue as when you go there before inviting anyone to live in the east hallway, which i don't think is supposed to happen, but idk

Hello. Thank you for the next update, but I have an important question is there a possibility of adding other languages to, for example, Russian? If there is an opportunity, I am even ready to pay for the Russian to appear in such a big game.
I am planning on translating CK into many different languages (including Russian) but because of my weekly release schedule, and my habit of returning to old dialogue to polish it, it's impossible to hire anyone to translate the game right now.
Once the game is nearly complete I will hire translators for as many languages as possible :)
how does the paperdolls thing work?

Currently it's just an underlying system to make my life easier and allow me to create a lot more events in future updates. The "Wardrobe System" - allowing you to edit characters' looks - is coming soon :)
Great game, honestly. What really hooked me was the property system. Yes, I know. But it's just my type of thing, I like the almost city builder aspect to it. It has good NSFW and characters, plot, the only grip is just the sound. I wish there were more sounds in the game for interactions and scenes.
Haha, I think you're the first person to tell me that the property system was what they liked the most, but I'm happy to hear it! :) Glad you're enjoying the game!
As for the sounds, yeah, I'd like to go more in-depth with that too. Probably during one of the polish passes once the game hits beta.

i know there's a lot going on now but there's something i've been curios about for a loooooong time. are there gonna be any new events with kanas mom? since she only appeared once been wondering about it

Not forgotten - just biding her time ;) Yup, war has begun and Kana's old tribe is going to have an important role to play! In fact, there's already been a hint about that in Act Three for eagle-eyed players...
