This week you can finally train and learn skills outside of Boss Battles, by selecting a conquered district, scouting it and looking for trouble! Just an Org Goon fight for now, but many more minions to come in the future! Plus bug fixes. Lots of bug fixes. I hope you enjoy! :)
Note: I'm currently battling an attack of neuralgia, so sorry for the relatively short update this week! Apparently I've been pushing myself too hard, so next week I'll be on break and then it's back to normal on the 27th! Thanks for your patience and all your amazing support. I love you peeps.
PLEASE READ! IF YOU ARE ON WINDOWS, LINUX OR MAC IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NO OVERWRITE THE OLD UPDATE WITH THE NEW ONE! JUST EXTRACT THIS UPDATE TO A BRAND NEW FOLDER AND PLAY! THE GAME WILL TRANSFER YOUR SAVE FILES FOR YOU!
KNOWN ISSUES: Due to the necessity of changing the User Interface some screens (such as the skill, inventory, fighter and crafting screens) haven't had a UI pass and look kinda janky. All this will be fixed in the next few updates, so please bear with me until then. Thank you!
CHANGELOG:
- Combat: While SCOUTing a conquered territory, you can now "Look for trouble", which will throw you into a fight that grants EXP and allows you to learn new skills from team mates. Only one battle encounter is available right now, but more will be added in time!
- Misc: Changed Pixie's initial title so it's not so spoilerific for new players
- Bug: Hazel's face was missing when she was Shattered, which was... horrifying
- Bug: The item menu wasn't showing up properly in combat. Now it is! Pizza and fighting, what could go wrong?
- Bug: Pump It and Motivate were triggering counter-attacks. You no longer get punched for shouting loudly!
- Bug: Demense entry dialogues were obscuring the "Nexus" button. Now they're not!
- Bug: Chelsea was showing up instead of Hazel when thrown in the dungron after an HP loss. Now the correct girl insults you!
- Bug: A number of text lines in leads and menu choices were over-running their boxes. They have been taught to keep within the lines...
- Bug: Obviously the bugs were left there as a cunning trap, but Gwen & Ami: Kid Detectives are not to be deterred! They've just found a suspicious trail of jam and they're on the case!

How do I unlock the green Stats?
You don't until Act Three It's not in the game yet - it's an indication of MC breaking through his limitations :)
Just a suggestion but I think it'll be nice to have a message box informing people to save on another file before entering the church (point of no return). I have to restart to see all my previous scenes now
The game, in the form of Chastity and MC's inner thoughts, asks you multiple times if you're super-duper-absolutely-one-hundred-percent sure before you progress :P
True but I guessed it was asking if you've trained your stats enough, not if you'd like to make another save because all your previous conquests will be unavailable

Well, long time no see, huh? I saved up the updates since Mid January to have some more content to do at once, and I can say it was worth it! I enjoy the new game mechanics; the new UI is nice, even if I have to get used to it; and it was definitely nice having an hour or so of content instead of a few minutes. I do think it's easier to find everything if you do them immediately though.
Keep up the good work, and definitely get some rest to get well again!

Ok so I am stuck at the lead where it says "Stretigize with Jessica" she just doesnt appear anywhere anyone can tell me where to find her ?

Jessica is in the garden in the morning and at noon.
I believe the stratergize means you need to go to the war room. You have to meet jessica in the garden and war room before you can start fighting. She just showed up in the war room when I went there in the morning.

I'm saving up these updates since I would like to play a huge chunk of new stuff at once - but I just want to say I greatly enjoyed the game and look forward to more.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) And yes, I do advise people to wait a little bit for the updates to pile up before diving back in again. You get a lot more content at once that way.

Hey, it's me again. I'm currently using a different computer and tried transfering the save file from last month, but it didn't show up. Did I do something wrong?
Where did you transfer it from and to? Depending on your OS there might be two locations: one primary and one backup, and weirdly Ren'py likes to pull from the backup first.
Well, I saved the files (including the one marked persistant) and copied them onto a file on OneDrive. Then I tried transfering the saved file into the game folder.

Having had a few chances to use it now because of the excellent addition of extra battles I don't think the "Pump It" skill is working. Phys is never increased on MC despite being at base value, from what I can tell.
Anyway, great game and great update.
The skill text is just errored. If it doesn't say it failed, it is still increasing
The system currently updates the UI at the start of each round (I'm working on changing that) so check to see if the number jumps up after the enemy has had their turn :)
I like rpg sistem this not hardcore,this remind me like some 3ds games i play...main genre of that game is simulation and visual novel but in middle game change to soft rpg 😂 still fun because unexpected thing but of course no fan service in that game

I am obviously stupid, I thought i had everything done before reaching the war map, Can anyone explain Gwen and Ami Kid detective, is it a in game joke or a recurring quest, I havent triggered it.
Ard uses Gwen and Ami kid detective as a little story you can read in the updates. Previously it was Typo Hero, who in the story is MIA presumed dead.

Arcadean got bored constantly saying "foxed typos". So they made a little in joke called typo hero to spice it up. And it worked so well that a lot of people got really invested and some wouldn't mind seeing it be their next project.
And I realized that thiers a typo in this...irony makes me refuse to fix it

It looks like the Typo Hero is up to his old tricks. Two I noticed while looking for trouble: when used, Pump It says it increases Phys by 0, though it does in fact increase it by 1. And when the (judging by artwork and other pronoun usage) Goons flirt with their enemy, whether MC or one of the girls, they somehow change genders by shaking "her breasts" at the target.
The first one is weird, the second will get you banned from Twitter - how dare you assume their gender!? ;)
