This week it's a smaller update, as I only had less than a week to prepare it thanks to Patreon shutting down my page and being unsure as to whether I'd even be able to continue working on CK in its current form. But everyone has been so amazing and incredible and so things are getting back to normal! This week there's a wholesome event with the kids, a new event with Claire, and a whole swathe of bugfixes. Next week the story kicks back into gear in a big way! I hope you enjoy! :)
CHANGELOG:
- SUBSCRIBESTAR: Removed ALL mention of Patreon from the game and replaced every instance with SubStar!
- DAYCARE KIDS: A new wholesome group event with the kids! Because Patreon can bite me. Go to the daycare and select "Group Play"!
- CLAIRE: New Claire event! Just go to sleep any time after meeting Claire in Act Three!
- DAYCARE: You can now rename your kids again in Act Three! That should confuse them nicely
- GLYTCHES: More glytches have been added to the prologue
- CREDITS: Credits have been fully updated to include all the amazing tier 4 players and higher who made the SubStar Shift! Thank you so much, everyone! <3
- Bug: Trying to visit Ami's room would teleport you to a healthy-looking Ami. Too healthy! This has been "fixed"...
- Bug: MC kept wondering how Viola got Viola's fluids. The stupid has been slapped out of him
- Bug: Pixie was cloning herself. She has been forbidden from watching the Prestige and the clones have been... dealt with
- Bug: Some odd text artifacts have been erased from dialogue lines. Thanks, thelling!
- Bug: You could rescue Kana even if you lost the Maven fight. Now you have to earn your wolfy waifu's return!
- Bug: Lil' Ronnie is no longer cutting off Lil' Emma's legs. Rude!
- Bug: Typos and grammatical errors fixed (this is just to remind people what the last bullet point always relates to. Lotta people been asking me how to find the Kid Detectives...)

When will multiple languages be supported?
I saw it in videos but I cannot talk to Veronica and Madison in the act 3. It's probably I forgot to do their events(still says talk to madison at night on both) but yeah they are completely locked for me now. Is there a way to fix it or do I have to start all over again?
If you didn't get both girls up to level 4 love or higher before entering Act Three then they're gone for the rest of the game. Sorry!

is the game finished, when i try to conquer all the places in act 3 it still says no more content in this version, there arent other game versions i can pick when launching either
Not finished yet, but if you explore around you should find somethings to keep you preoccupied, and all things from other game versions are in this version, just with less bugs, not sure why you'd want to go to prior versions but I won't judge, but yeah you just got to look around, whether in or out of town
Glad to see that the SubscribeStar move is a success! Here's hoping that without all the restrictions, it can recover, and perhaps receive more support than before!
Also, I love the group storytime you added in, if only there were more details there. For example, this "Patrick" guy seems familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. XD
And for the most important thing of all :
will the kid detectives return? you can't leave the story hanging after such an intense scene!
The SubscribeStar Shift has already been much more of a success than I'd dared hope for, thanks to the incredible support from so many people! I can't possibly thank everyone enough for helping to keep CK alive :)
Why, I don't know what you mean! For legal reasons, any resemblance to people or organisations living or dead is a coincidence. Cough cough. ;)
The Kid Detectives typo storyline will return! I was just getting more and more messages from people confused and asking how to access the Kid Detective events in the game ;P
When will we see substantial story update?
There's no bug - you can't click to activate any of the MC's powers in the prologue :)

Noticed an issue with Chloe in chapter 3. When you use Hidden Voices on her the dialogue is centered and is partially obscured by her paper doll. Thanks again for all your hard work, this game has been quite entertaining.
The old Hidden Voices system has a host of bugs which is why it's being phased out in favour of the new system that you can see when you talking to Chloe in Act Three :) Eventually all the characters will be using the new system.
So does that mean it's going to become something more akin to a passive buff that you just won't have to bother using? I guess that could work but it would require some retconning unless you were to say that the MC has used it enough that it changed into a passive ability. Anyway, thanks for your time responding to me. :)
You still have to activate the power manually (you don't read thoughts by default - you have to click on the highlighted words) but there will be the addition of a passive feature that allows MC to see when there are specific "loud" surface thoughts that he can listen to :)

Guys, I need help
Got Claire in act 3, Lyx appeared at night for the third (I guess?) time and got away, leaving leaf and flower in MC room
I can't figure out what should I do to find her
Skipping a few weeks didn't do anything for it
You may have to progress further with those two assuming you haven't already done everything previously possible. I just loaded my current run in which Lyx is available to talk to at any time in the west hallway, Claire has completed all her interactions with Ema, and all other content has been done. I was personally able to get this new Claire scene on the first night by sleeping alone but maybe it's based on some RNG thing. Good luck to you regardless.

Had to investigate and trace Lyx first, starting from the park (wasn't very obvious to me for some reason), and Claire-Emma interactions weren't complere (thought it was one-time event)
No no, not at all. It's not like the change log had prerequisites for the event listed. Nothing stupid about reaching out to the community to bounce ideas around. :)
I'm stuck at this point too. I found the sand at the school, but not of locations have any options to search for Lyx. Claire has helped Emma come out of her room, and I had a morning scene with Claire and Pixie, is there something I'm missing? progressing the story seems to require talking to Lyx.
Okay that one I remember. Head to the Outskirts and head to the Beach. From there you just search her Cottage again, and from there the Mansion.
god i love this game and the dev. reading the patch notes feel on the same level as reading sims update patch notes. its just hiliarious and prime humor. cant say how much i apreaciate the job youre doing. ill probs jump in after few more updates, keep the amazing work

I'd see it as an "aditional Pov"
myabe you should delete the kids from the Pokemon version of the game, make a patch to bring them back, and put it on your discord
There is no Patreon version of the game. They nuked my site from existence and took my money.
The 'Thanks for Playing' screen still says to "consider supporting the game on Patreon" before quitting.
It's been fixed for the next update :)
