PUBLIC RELEASE - v0.21.5 - LYX'S LOVELY LEAD!
The latest update has been released!
This week there's more story, another step in Kana's treatment, two new characters and new lore about a certain tree lady! Also, some polish to existing scenes and the usual typo fixes. Next update... the final stage of Kana's treatment!? I hope you enjoy! :)
NOTE: I'm shifting the release day slightly from Monday to Wednesday starting from the next early access update, so look out for the next update on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning (depending on your time zone)!
CHANGELOG:
- NEW CHARACTER: Continue with the Kana lead you got from Lyx!
- KANA: Can continue her Lead!
- LUCILLE: Lucille finally has a room of her own once again! In the East Hallway - Human Floor!
- LUCILLE: New naughty event with Lucille! Talk to her in her room!
- DREAMS: Five new dreams will appear once you've tried to access the Nexus in Act Three and spoken to Lyx about it. They may reveal a little more about a certain character's origin, and perhaps a way to eventually reopen the Nexus...
- Misc: Slight rework to the Act One finale to include kinetic text and tidy up the code a little
- Misc: Fixed some instances of paperdolls overlaying on top of text
- Misc: Shifted a dialogue line in the park concert scene so it makes a little more sense
- Misc: Work continues on making "virgin runs" possible. I'm anout 20% through remaking the Act One finale renders and they'll all be released at once in a futuer update - coming soon!
- Bug: The figured pulls himself from the pool of light, armour gleaming in the flickering luminescence. Picking up his sword, he turns to Gwen & Ami: Kid Detectives. "Hi," he says, "I'm the Typo Hero..."

i cant find luna and i looked every direction
idk if its something i did but i don't have the kana lead and i dont have lyx, she showed up once in my room at night and now i cant find her, please help

Goin' Back to the old Dialogue, (When you first wake up in the Manor after saving Pixie from the Org, And when you summon the Beast and meet Gramps in the Manor) When you use Awaken on her in one of the scenes and she says "She was trying to rip me apart.. To make me give in.." Why do I feel like that's foreshadowing something in act 3?..

This is an awesome game, could you make it so that when the character's outfit is changed, that outfit is applied to the cinematics?
Beautiful game, I found myself getting attached to a lot of the characters
I love that you can have kids in the game and interact with them
Act 3 with Kana and the kid made me tear up

Hi Arcadian, first thanks for this update. But Ive got something you might want to know. Collected the Veracity scat, and talked to Lyx. Went back to the forrest (wanted to see if the mushrooms and/or fern leaves could also be found) and picked again de scat up. Went back the next day, again the scat. Now, I got 3 the same leads next to one another for Kana in the 'leads' menu. I think that's not suppose to be.
Where can i find lyx in act 2, cz for 2 of the available hints i need to find her but i have no clue where to find lyx at all.

That is not something I want to think that hard about, but... between animals, the times I've taken care of sick people, years of looking after my aging parents, interacting with young children - who are not nearly as fun in real life as they are in fiction - and a few mishaps, it... it's a depressingly large number.

First off, I find it appropriate that Typo Hero created a typo in the patch notes. What a cad!
Secondly, Chloe's two outfits in the Wardrobe are exactly the same. Is this intended?

The Chloe outfit bug is - I think - because the game locks her into her "War" outfit when she's in the War Room. The whole wardrobe/pick outfits system is honestly a huge pain in my butt and will likely be getting an overhaul soon.
Where hav I met Lucille, I can't remember??
Lucille is one of the "House Ladies" that you meet in Act Two as part of Jessica's storyline. You can invite her to move into the Manor in Act Two if you meet her in the park, in which case she'll still be in the Manor when Act Three starts :)
thank you for this game, i know its an H game but the characters genuinely made me feel things (not those things pervs) and the game made me happy, hopefully I can get myself in a position where i can donate to you on substar or donate here soon, keep it up.

As for donations, obviously I appreciate them more than I can say, but the most important thing is that people have fun with CK. Focus on yourself first and foremost!
There's an "About Kana..." loop; when you get the scat, you can choose this option and follow the process all over again and add infinite Kana leads.
Fixed for next update, and the duplicate leads will be automatically removed, thanks :)

how do I "scout the church" at the bridge in the evening? it's not an option. is it bc like the chittering abominations are there? istg if it is and I can't do anything but restart the entire game I'm gonna die <3
Scouting the church is what triggered the Chitterings. There's no further need or ability to scout the church any more :) That storyline will be continued in future updates (I am but a lowly solo dev so please be patient)!
Fixed for next update, and the duplicates will be automatically removed :)
