Sad to hear what happened to the old battle graphic, hopefully the new graphic won't strain your energy too much, always keep up the amazing work 👍

(+2)

Thanks! I must admit last week royally kicked my ass (8am to 10pm every day for seven days, no break for lunch) to get everything back up and running, but from this point on it should be much more simple :)

(+1)

So how are you supposed to get better in combat in act 3? I feel after first 2 bosses, I can't keep up with with any other ones. I get out damaged and defending is only blocking 1 damage. Is there way increase my skills or something im missing?

(+1)

Get their skills, and make healing food. It isn't that hard of a difficulty jump

(+1)

You can also try damaging the enemy with different attacks, some bosses is weak to physical and some is weak to seductive.

(+1)

Go scouting on conquered territories and look for trouble. Beating goons grants 2 xp, so you can grind some levels to win harder fights

Everyone else has given great answers, but just to summarise:

1.  "Look for trouble" in conquered territories to fight Goons which will level you up and give you the opportunity to learn skills (see #2)

2.  Learn new skills! Put a girl in the frontline and MC in the support position and then use the girl's unique skills. MC has a random chance to learn that skill every time the girl uses it.

3.  Pay attention to the "Scout" text and listen to Jessica's advice! Some enemies are weak to physical damage, others to seduction, and some require a more defensive playstyle. Jessica will give you hints about all of this.

4.  Remember that all enemy skills can be negated or countered. Noelle about to throw an Impale your way? Block it! No damage = no chance to kill.

5.  Make food! You start out with a recipe for HP-restoring food and you can get a WP-restoring recipe from Hillside Development. Each one restores 50% of your maximum, so level up and make use of the percentage-based healing!

6.  Don't be afraid to switch someone else in as a frontline fighter. MC has the greatest potential and highest utility, but sometimes a different character is better as a frontline fighter in specific battles.

7.  Pay attention to the girls' support abilities! Going up against a strong physical fighter? Bring a girl that buffs your DEF. Going up against a Temptress with high WP? Switch out the support girl with the lust-based damage skill. And so on.

Hope that helps! You got this! :)

(1 edit)

Umm, Am I in trouble in Act 3 combat-wise if I didn't buy the Dungeon upgrade in Act 2? I had no idea I needed it to recruit girls. I am sad that I can't recruit Noelle :(

Ok, Rather than trying to save-edit the dungeon into the game (which, I admit, I tried, and failed), I'll use a slightly older save.

Yea, we gotta make sure to get everything in act 2, it might be useful later on

(+2)

You can "officially cheat" it into the game if you didn't get it in Act Two by using the laptop in your bedroom :)

I put it in for just such an eventuality!

(+1)

Good afternoon, first I want to say thank you for such a fun and interesting game and thank you for not having a paywall to play :) Also thank you for the weekly updates some are large and some are smaller but it shows that the game is constantly worked on and cared for.

Lastly I was wondering are there any cat girls in this game and if not could we add one? I am willing to donate/support this endeavor if that would help. I love the mind control/corruption mechanic my only small sadness is that we cannot mind blast anyone we want into our little sex zombies but maybe when the game is finished it can be like ravager with power fantasy mode :p no rush!

You're very welcome, and thank you for the kind words! :)

No cat girl in the game right now, but once Act Three progresses to the point where you're fighting Fey creatures, who knows? Maybe!

Financial support always helps, of course, but I never hold characters hostage until people pay me. If you can afford it, and you think CK is worth it, then I am humbled and flattered to receive support. But if not, I'll still try to fit in as many requests as I possibly can anyway :)

The game's story-focus means that just Shatter-blasting everyone you meet will never be possible, unfortunately. However, all one-shot girls (plus all Boss Girls) can be Shatter-blasted, as can numerous Side Girls and even one of the Main Girls if you choose to go that route.

I just started tha game and didn't really see any h-scene yet, but the quality of animated scenes wasn't as good as on the screens. (The animation is sick, by "quality" i mean resolution). So, if that's a thing only in the start/only in non-h-scenes or is it a thing in general? Anyways, wanted to thank a dev of the game. I'm only at the beginning of it but so far so good.

(Sorry for my English, if it's painful to read, I'm not a fluent speaker)

(+1)

The resolution of the screenshots is the same as the in-game resolution (1280x720p) but I did update my lighting technique as I continued to develop the game, so later scenes certainly look better (I hope).

I'll be updating the older graphics to my current style once the game goes into beta.

I'm a solo dev and this is my first project, so I'm learning as I go. Please be patient with me ;) And I hope you enjoy the game!

I don't know why, I'm stuck on the name

You mean actually stuck, as in you can't get past the title screen, or stuck as in you are hyper-focused on the "Corrupted Kingdoms" title? :P

(+4)

So this is probably gonna sound really stupid, but I blame the developer for making me get invested in the story and characters lol.

Do you have any idea when we may see the ability to go to the Outskirts in Act III? Because I have four kids (in-game obv lol) and the idea of them being trapped away from me makes me a bit anxious lol. Like I said, I know it's dumb and I should prolly just go touch grass or something, but would you at least be able to tell me if they're ok? Like, I'll be real, it's kinda gonna fuck me up if I go over there (when we eventually can) and find out somebody killed them or something.

(+6)

Well thank you, and... I'm sorry!

No timetable on getting out to the farm (I don't want to set a deadline and then disappoint people by missing it), but I know that the fate of the kids is something that a lot of people are worried about, so it's definitely a priority.

I'm sure they're fine, though... out there in the outskirts... isolated and surrounded by the mortal enemy of their father... with only Annie and Kana to protect them... yeah, they'll be fiiiiiine ;)

(1 edit) (+2)

Narrows eyes Don't you do this to me, Ricky Bobby! Lol, I gotta give you credit dude, you've done a really good job at giving us valid reasons to dislike the antagonists. I haven't held this much hate for an antagonist (in this case, Whoregana) since Geoffrey from Game of Thrones, whereas sometimes in other games/media it feels like we're supposed to hate the antagonist just because they're the antagonist. This is easily my favorite game in its category I've played, and I thank you not only for the work you've done but also for not being greedy. I understand that you gotta make money to be able to dedicate time to making this game, but I've seen other people that monetize their games so aggressively that it feels like 80% of the game is locked behind a paywall. The way you've done it makes me want to support you financially, as opposed to feeling like I have to if I ever want to get to truly experience the game. Thanks for the experience, thanks for not scoffing at people who might not be able to make a monthly financial commitment like that, and I wish you nothing but good fortune and success moving forward ^-^

(+1)

Sooo.... I have a question....

(Id love to drool all over this page first, to make it known how amazing I think this game is turning out, but im sure you get that a LOT.  😜😅😁 )

My question is....  I cant find ANYWHERE on how to level up your character, increase his battle stats, or how/where to learn Recipes...

Can anyone advise?? 😅☺️

                          -Angel Avalon

(2 edits) (+1)

So, if you're like me and you're used to the game mechanics of "Visit this NPC to raise this stat" or "Go to this place and perform this activity to raise this other stat" then the system can seem kinda weird, but as long as you play through the main story and do the girl's stories, you'll find your stats increasing as per story interactions either directly (as in "task completed, stat point gained) or by unlocking said interaction/location. So just go through the story normally and you'll find these opportunities (some of them, like Charisma and Physical, are *technically* available from the start or near the start, at least for the first few advancements). Looking at the stat scroll, they have little hints about how to get you started. I'll try to give non-spoiler info on it here for you :)

Charisma: Go to the bar in the morning and look around to find books, eventually you'll need to perform tasks for an NPC to raise it further (this is obvious and hard to miss so long as you keep visiting the bar in the morning).

Martial: Eventually you unlock the ability to visit a certain family member of yours, that'll deal with your Martial path pretty much in its entirety.

Insight: Once you unlock the ability to use the train station, use it and go to the Lake.

Magical: Go to the outskirts and start exploring, eventually you'll find somebody interesting...

Physical: Also outskirts, I hear working on a farm is pretty hard work. Once that's that, it might help to find somebody really strong to help you (requires advancement of story, it becomes pretty obvious once the character opens up).

In terms of recipes, unless I missed something, you only actually get ONE recipe in Act 3 just naturally (it depends on the meal you picked on Day 1, idk if the effect varies per food but I did salad and it's a pretty darn good recipe), but by exploring a certain district I know of at least one other recipe you can discover. Before Act III, I don't even think recipes are a thing.

Hope this helps you, friendo! ^-^

(+2)

Haha, thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying the game, and I hope you continue to enjoy what I have planned for the future!

As for your questions, Tanis covered it pretty thoroughly :)  Just to add to the "battle stats" part of the question, though:

When you level up, only your HP and WP increase. To improve your other stats you will need to explore, construction certain buildings, do certain events, etc.  Right now you can only increase your PHY and ARC by one extra point, both in The Glades, but many more opportunities will be added in future updates.

Same for recipes - they'll be found by exploring, through certain battles and story events, and so on. Right now there's only two, but more to come

Thanks to you both!   Understanding the game just tends to make them all the better!
Keep up the amazing work!   Obvious boner inducing characters aside, this is one great story!!
Serious talent!  ^_^!!!!!

Can we send boss girl back to the dungeon after we recruit them or is it permanent?

(+1)

You can send any girl you've "tamed" back to the dungeon for some fun, but to the best of my knowledge you can't permanently place them their once recruited. But if you go down to the dungeon and select the "Summon a Girl" option, you'll see all your "tamed" counterparts there.

(+1)

What Tanis said :)  Once they've joined you, they're with you forever, but you can summon them to the dungeon for some roleplaying fun if you like.

(+1)

amazing work as always!

(2 edits) (+1)

(I never got very far in the story (never even finished Act 2)).

I'm remembering how much this story hooks me in.  Of course, mind control is a kink of mine, so I enjoy seeing everyone's minds being warped towards the MC. The sex for me isn't really that interesting.

I hope Veronica becomes a close sidekick of the main character. I like her intelligence.

Also, are there slime girls? I like those, too.

(+1)

I'm glad you're enjoying it, and I hope you get far enough into it to beat Act Two this time around :)

Veronica will be making a return for sure, and slime girls are a possibility but I'm not making any promises. There's already so many girls in the game, especially in Act Three ;P

(+1)

act three is actually pretty fun even it didn't really have full content like act two. it doesn't matter anyway. the battle system, buildings, character status etc. are truly something i didn't expect in a visual noval based game. it's really amazing. hope to see more in the future and i truly hope this series will never ends.

how can i found chloe

I'm assuming you mean at the start of Act Two? You can find her in her room in the morning, but you'll need to have found Lyx and learned her name before you can properly unlock Chloe.

(+1)

what do crystal shards do?

(1 edit) (+2)

currency, like money, you'll use it to buy some story related items

They haven't been added yet - they're not story-critical, and I am but one man, so I am prioritizing other things right now ;P

(+2)

(written in google translate) Is it only you who makes all the game?  you put out an update per week on average that's a lot of work for one being, if you want to take a break we won't die if you take a break

(+3)

Yes, it's just me :) I usually take a one-week break every two or three months to physically recover. But I love my job so I'm happy to do it!

(+1)

I think i got a bug  it keep telling me walk around the flat there somebody standing outside during the day but nothing happening

(+2)

It doesn't tell you to walk around the flat, it tells you to leave the flat and then return. If that's not working, try talking to Emma in her room at night.

(+1)

thats the thing i did it 3-10x i left then return then i try talking to emma im not getting anything im stuck n it wont let me do anything else til i do that

(+1)

Did you try talking to Emma specifically in the EVENING? Those are literally the only two blocks - you must go to another map location and return and you must talk to Emma in the evening.

(+5)

Funny enough the new update came out on my birthday!

(+1)

Happy birthday! :)

Call me curious but what modeling software do you use? they look fantastic but i've always just been a bit curious

(+1)

Program is called Koikatsu. It’s not quite a 3d engine, but with enough mods the community has managed to make quite a bit.

It’s on Steam as “Koikatsu Party” but you’ll need a good bunch of mods to get some use out of it.

alright, thought about using it for some personal projects

cheers!

most devs also use Chara studio to animate scenes with it (i belive chara comes with the steam download in the game folder)

(1 edit)

Hey Idk if it a bug or missing code but i can't make Ramen noodles anymore heck it's not on the list of the foods you can make

(+1)

Yeah, it was a bug on the previous version, it was supposed to be fixed on the current one.

But somehow it broke again.

Whats the process for updating the game but maintaining saves?

go in the game file and drag your save file to the game file in the new version

Thanks!:)

(+1)

If you’re on computer, you can use the itch.io launcher to download and update the game.

But if you download the new version and launch it, your saves should move over automatically.

As for phones, download the apk and install as update. Don’t uninstall.

Other people have answered you, but just so there's an "official" response:

You don't need to do anything to maintain your saves - the game will do that for you automatically no matter which version or method of updating you're using.

Just download the game, extract to a fresh folder if you're on PC or overwrite the APK if you're on Android and play! That's it :)

Is this game fully completed yet?

(+1)

Nope, but I have completed all the current content in the game and my playtime is at 37 hours, so you've still got a good chunk of content to play with, and the story is phenomenal, so I hope you'll enjoy yourself :)

Holy s***, 37 hours....really?  I love the long games.

(+1)

Yeah there were multiple times during play when I was expecting to get the dreaded message that all players know, "You've completed all available content for this release version!" and it just took SOOOOO long to come up (in a good way) lol. On top of that, I said I've completed all current content, but as I read through peoples comments it seems I actually did miss some things, so it's possibly that if I had hit them all my playtime would've been at 40+ hours; it's a lot of really well done work so far, and I hope you'll enjoy it ^-^

(+2)

In one or two years, maybe.

how do you change jessica clothes

In Act Two you can only change clothes when you're having naughty times. In Act Three, you change girls' clothes at the Wardrobe in your room.

Maybe a bug, but it's a cute one. SHE'S SMALL

alright so these few reply is going to be some of the bugs i found, they're pretty minor so im sure Arc could fix this in the next patch.

(+1)
Ami have 3 ears, if u interact with her here. U can see 2 models, 1 staying in place and the other sliding. I can't time it better to get a screenshot of it but here's 3 ears Ami
(1 edit) (+1)

Another cute bug, this one with our beloved Pixie and Molly. SHE'S SMALLER THAN BEFORE (i forgot to screenshot the Molly one)

(+2)

last one i found, ramen recipe not back (for me at least)

(+1)

Yeah, it was supposed to be fixed this version but somehow Arc managed to break it twice.

(+1)

Again, not a bug. It’s coded that way.

I suppose Arc might put the characters on “smol mode” when the background image is more important.

(+1)

Not really 3 ears, but her paperdoll is baked in the background for some reason.

I mean, you might notice that when you talk to Ami, she slides on top of the baked-in copy of herself.

Arc knows about this.

(+1)

Not a bug, the characters can appear on the side like that to cover less of the screen. Most of the time Arc prefers to use the fullbody paperdolls.

But the main reason behind the text being so far to the right is to show the characters like that.

Ohh alright, that's understandable. Thank you!

(+2)

Going to reply to this one, as following all your threads to their end point is like unravelling string ;)

1.  The small portraits are on purpose. They're used to either prevent the paperdoll from obscuring the background or to indicate that the speaker is further away/moving away from MC.

2.  The Ami thing should be mostly fixed in the latest version, but there's one or two places I still need to tidy up. It's legacy code that I forgot to remove when I implemented some new systems.

3.  The recipe thing was fixed, then I made a small change and that broke it again :P Fixed for the next version now, I pinky-promise!

(+1)

Finally catching up with your game after a long time with it on my to-play list and I'm really enjoying it so far. Still just getting into it but it's got me hooked for now.

One minor gripe, I really wish there was an opacity slider for the text boxes, the text box blocks portions of a lot of images and constantly having to hide the box to see things really kills the flow of reading the game. Quite a lot of renpy games include that option or have it added by modders so I assume it would be pretty straight forward to implement.

(+1)

Not in Act Two, no. Her secret (as well as Sword Girl's) will be uncovered in Act Three, but I haven't coded it in yet :)

(+1)

Hey, I purchased the game, and I'm looking to download it but the Android file is a ZIP file not an APK file, so I cannot install it. Would you please help me with this? I'm using the last download link which I think is connected to Android. For your information.

(+1)

Arc uses a method of uploading the game to itch.io that allows people to use the launcher on Computers to update the game easier.

Problem is that it sometimes decides to put the APK inside a zip file. If your file manager can extract zip files, you can install it from there.

Otherwise, go to the Patreon or Subscribestar page for the game and use the public download links, they’re the same version than the one posted here on itch.io

As Chris said, it's something that Itch just does sometimes for no reason that I - or anyone else - can discern :P

The APK is there, inside the ZIP file. Your device should come with an app for extracting the APK file, but if not you can download free ones from the Play Store, such as Files by Google ( https://support.google.com/files/answer/9048509?hl=en )

Hope that helps, and sorry for the inconvenience!

После того, как добавили Кану, загорелую девушку-волка убрали.

Есть небольшой шанс, что персонаж, похожий на нее, может появиться снова. В конце концов, мы встретили не так много людей из ее клана.

Got a bug report for you (I *think*, it might just be a Ren'py limitation, in which case ignore me ^-^). For anybody NOT the Dev that may be reading this, THIS WILL CONTAIN A SPOILER FOR LATE GAME (at least, late game as of update 0.18.7) SO IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS (trust me, you don't, the story is so well crafted that by the time I got there I was NOT expecting to get that kinda outcome) THEN DON'T READ ON!!!

---------------------------SPOILER BELOW-----------------

During combat when you're taking back the neighborhoods (it works on on any of the neighborhoods it seems), the menu (with save and load and such) as well as scene reversal (like with the mouse wheel) are disabled, which I assume is intentional so that you can't cheese combat (which makes perfect sense), but after the battle ends and you regain menu/scene control, you can mousewheel BACK INTO the combat freely and reperform actions. I haven't done it to see what happens, but it gives me the option to, and considering the way you have it setup I assume it's NOT intentional, so I thought I'd let you know!

Also, a question while I'm below the spoiler line: with the two sisters from The Glades, it mentions that if you "keep pushing" you'll end up finding the other sister. Is that a matter of like...a chance for her to appear if you keep looking for trouble enough, or is that something not currently implemented in this version?

(+2)

The rolling back into combat thing can be fixed. I’ll run some tests and send it to Arc.

And the second twin doesn’t appear yet.

I do wonder, will she become a boss on another district? Or a story event fight?

Methinks the second.

(+1)

Yeah the way that the text was worded when it occurred, it really makes me think it's gonna be a locational story event fight, possibly something involving the Fae once that system gets expanded a bit more. I *believe* I've now played through all the content the current version has available (all girls except Lyx say no more content available in this version, Lyx says to wait until Act 3), I've taken over the entire district surrounding the manor and no other location allows me to scout/mount an attack. I'm *really* impressed with this game, I can't wait to see what happens next (some of the story cliffhangers are killing me rn lmao).

Thanks for the response Chris, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day!

(1 edit)

Next bug report. It's another minor one. It's about the fade-out transition from the world map to an area. When I go to the Flat, for example it shows the background of a place I previously visited (like the Church) as the fade-out transition happens. I expect it to show the background of the world map fading out and it fading in to the new area.

This issue doesn't happen when going to different places within an area like Shops or the Flat.

Oh, and the music on the Map stays what it was in the most recent place visited IF I leave that area via the on-screen options. For example, magical music of the Church on the Map.

(+1)

Neither are bugs - the first is a limitation within Ren'py (the map is a "screen" which is overlaid on top of the scene and can't inherit transition statements) and the latter is intentional.

Remember that when you open your map, you're not teleporting to a "map" location or wandering aimlessly out into the streets. You're standing wherever you're standing and opening your map to decide where to go. The music doesn't change because you haven't yet left the location you're in.

The “get support from ???” means you gotta do that faction’s story.

As for the Fey stuff. You need to use the info that contradicts what someone else said.

But if you’re not going to try to bruteforce it…

Emmett->Erica->Ard->Hana

Make that what you will…

And Chastity’s scene, you get after you complete all leads.

Hmmm, just a quick question, Jessica with the adultress trait wont do anything without your permission, right? She'll only cheat on her husband with you and hopefully not with anyone else.

(+1)

Nah, not that type of game, ever.

You are the one who cucks, not the cucked.

The quirk (for now it doesn’t do crap) just means that scenes similar to the one she got the quirk on may happen in the future.

It’s one thing that she’s cheating on her (pathetic excuse of a) husband. And another to have him watch.

I do wonder if Jessica’s quirk will only gatekeep her content or will other characters - like Madison and Gwen - also be affected by it.

Thank bloody goodness, I ain’t sharing any of my women ever. A bit hypocritical I know xD

Pffft, sounded a lot like a wrote version of Heisenberg, thanks mate, clarified a lot for me.

Aye, kept the save on that spot if it was something I needed to change in the future, that or piss off the bastard that dared to kill me, just surprised there was That other option, never!

Glad I got the answer, do wonder though, if it will affect others as well, hopefully in good way and not bad.

Is this finished?

(+3)

Nah, far from it.

Game still has at least one or two years left before it’s finished.

how do i get the third h scene for jessica

(+1)

In the gallery?

That’s her 4th heart event scene.

If you’ve played it already, the unlock might’ve bugged, so feel free to use the “Gallery Unlock” cheat on the MC’s laptop.

can someone help for some reason after I downloaded this, the page disappeared and I had to search it up from google in order to find it

(+1)

When I download games from itch, I usually drag the link of the game's page to the directory where I keep the game's archive file as well.

The collection page can be somewhat fuzzy, but if you add the game to your collections, then your browser's search function (typically Ctrl-F on most browsers) may help you find the title,

The game opens but does not play on Android just crashes if possible pls fix I love this game alot and I'm coming back to this game to see what's new but can't until fix pls

There's nothing I can do to fix it, unfortunately - it's not a bug with the code, it's some kind of incompatibility between the game and your device/OS. The only things I can suggest are:

1.  Try turning your device completely off (not restart - full power down) and back on again. Solves 90% of the weird errors people report.

2.  Free up more storage space. Androids can get weird about storage.

3.  Download the Joiplay app and install the Windows version of CK

Sorry I can't be more help!

(2 edits) (-2)

It's funny this early-game typo still exists.

It's a quotation. It should be "Identify yourself at once".

Also, there's a consistency issue. the Bar Girl (I know her name but won't say) when you first enter the bar is wearing the default outfit. When you talk to her, she wears the player-set outfit. Can I be Typo Hero's assistant? :) I have 0 reputability.

(1 edit) (+1)

It may seem strange, but that is actually the correct way of having that quotation. When a character quotes another character, it is with apostrophes instead of quotation marks. If it were written in full-quotation form, it would look like this:

"'Identify myself at once?' Who talks like that?"

So since it is a character quoting another character, apostrophes are used instead of quotation marks.

Not really a "typo"... It's actually the subject of a fairly interesting literary debate! For example, in formal text I could write "She informed the main character that he should 'identify [himself] at once!' which is an archaic mode of expression." and that would be absolutely fine. But of course you can't do that in dialogue - those symbols aren't recognized as a part of diegetic speech. So is it okay to still change the pronoun, with the square brackets being implied? Or no?

I fall into the "whatever feels most natural coming from that character's mouth" camp, and to me the MC feels like the kind of person who would echo the quote with a focus on himself (he's fairly self-absorbed) rather than deliberately stick to the original syntactical structure.

Can you tell I taught English for a while? :)

As for the Lily issue, I shall look into it! The issue is that every time you enter the bar, her outfit is the default one rather than the player-set one, yes? And when you talk to Lily, then she switches to the correct outfit?

You can be Typo Hero's travelling artistic sidekick - "Continuity Error" ;)

@Iluna Sorry. I wasn't clear with my thoughts on the quotation. TheArcadean explains it, though. I meant that I expected a quotation to be an "echo" of what the other person said.

@TheArcadean OK and thanks for giving me title of sidekick. Although. I don't know how good I'll be as one for continuity problems. :/

Also, I was thinking when you said that used to teach english in the past: If it were a class of young kids, how would they feel if they found out their teacher would become the  writer of a fetish porn visual novel about mind controlling human and monster  girls into loving the main character?

I taught EFL for five years in Tokyo - two years of all ages from four to eighty-plus, and three years of Kindergarten. The "all ages" group would probably either high-five me, want to play the game, or both... and I sincerely hope the kindergarteners won't learn about adult games for a very long time yet ;)

kinda need help how do i investigate and learn more about the organization

(+1)

You need to do the main story leads.

If you don’t have them, for some reason.

Visiting Gramps

First, check if he’s still in the garden. Then go to the map and take a train to the mountains. Talk to him.

Training

Gramps won’t spill the beans until you’re ready. So do the 4 levels of training. Then talk to him again.

Someone shot the messenger

Gramps still won’t talk, he needs you to fetch a pigeon on the lake. It’s on the map, you have to check it at least 3 times. Bring him the pigeon back once you found it. A bit more talking and now you should have the main story leads.

Ok so like. I can't play anything. It says can't open file. Even to install it On Android.

I feel like you're not opening it with the right program... sometimes Itch decides to package the APK as a ZIP file. Are you unzipping before you attempt to install?

usually it'll do that if you don't have enough excess space to install it, usually you can get away with installing two different versions at once and then deleting the older version after the latest is installed just have to make sure that you go into the game first before you delete the old version but also that has to do with APK files rather than a zip file

Future systems?? :o sounds like lots of fun! keep up the good work man, the game is awesome! Always looking forward for new stuff! <3

Thank you! The new systems aren't anything fancy like the combat system was, but it should open up a lot more possibilities for players and some fun events and options :)

how do yu get rehab?

You mean the Rehabilitation Centre? You can't, yet, although the next update (next week) sets things up for being able to build it - probably in the update after that, in two weeks :)

Probably a dumb question but how do i patch the game on android?

(+1)(-1)

I'm not sure if the Itch launcher works for patching Android files, but apart from that... you don't, sorry. Ren'py has no innate patching feature and the nature of APKs means that it's functionally impossible for a solo dev on a weekly schedule and without access to the Google Play Store's API to do it myself :/

You can download the new version's APK and just move the save files from the old APK to the new one using something like File Manager. That's how most people tend to handle updates for Android; hope this helps!

You don't need to move save files - the game will do that for you automatically - and you can't move anything to or from an APK as that's just the installer :)

Install the update using the APK, click on "update" when it asks, and then you can delete the APKs - they've served their purpose. That's it! No need to shuffle files around (unless something goes horribly, terribly wrong).
