Another question, so when it comes to Dhena's quest in act three, it says that I need access to the shops. The shops are past the church, and you can't get past the church, but in the leads tab it doesn't say that the content is unavailable. Am I missing something?
I just started the game and I was on a loop of the same first event. It went like this: I arrived, slept, Morgana quest (control on Pixie), then after 2 days of sleeping got up, get a call from gramps, Morgana quest (control on Pixie), 2 days of sleeping, another time Morgana quest (control on Pixie) and done. So at day 5 I've got 3 Morgana quests and also 3 artifact thorn and 3 (equal) beast leads. I don't know what triggered the loop only 3 times.
Scrolling down the comments and seeing positive reviews makes me happy for you Arc! You really deserve it with how well Corrupted Kingdom's story is!
Side Note: if I had to pick a favorite character that I currently can show affection and love to, I couldn't choose, they're all equally loveable! thats how well you made the story!

Stuck on the bridge after doing the night chittering event, got lynx and everything but no idea how to progress past the bridge in order to get to the shops for the ingredients for lynx, any help would be appreciated
Hey! So I've reached the part where we are in the latest update, and I've unlocked the wandering merchant, delt with Maven, conquered everything I can, and am at a bottleneck with the church. From there, I can't seem to find any other ways to progress, I've checked every location and talked with every character, Kana is still knocked out, and I haven't found Lyx yet. Is there anyway to progress that I'm missing, or have I reached the end of what's currently released? Great game btw, one of the best I've seen!
To unlock Lyx you need to have Claire in the Manor. To get Claire, you need to have conquered the Bridge and the Apartments and then done the nighttime event on the Bridge (with the Chitterings).
Once you've conquered those two locations and done the Chitterings event, Claire will appear one night when you sleep. After that, Lyx will appear some time when you sleep and you will get a Lead. Follow the the lead to unlock Lyx, which in turn will unlock more events.
I think this is where I may be stuck but since I'm so far ahead, I don't want to start over. Maybe I'll just start at a certain point and just pay extra close attention.
Oh!! I see what I was doing wrong. There's two versions that pop up when you click launch game and I've been playing the wrong version. If you're stuck like I was, make sure you always choose the second option because that's the latest option

The way Ren'py works is that there's no individual user bugs unless someone's been manually digging into the code and altering variables. If something's broken, it's broken for everyone.
To get Emma out of her room you need to have Claire in the Manor. Then simply go to Emma's door during the afternoon and watch the event. You have to do this a few times! Eventually she'll open the door.
If you have Claire, and you've seen the event at Emma's door multiple times, and you're stuck in some kind of loop, let me know exactly where you're looping and I'll dig into the code to see if something's gone screwy.
I have Claire, annoying little snot nosed blonde brat. I visited Emma multiple times for, gosh maybe a weeks worth “in game days”. Nothing, Emma would do her usual cute stammering for the MC to go away.
Now, I managed to get past it finally. Not sure how or why. But suddenly it just randomly started going through. It was nice to see the brats softer “sisterly” side.
And here I was worried I would have had to dump my save and restart fresh.
just curious, so far the graphics, story, everything really is great, and i'm really enjoying my playthrough. just wondering, is there any plans for voice acting, or "moan acting" with the girls during the cutscenes? clearly that'd be a process with getting voices and whatever the cost is, but i'm just curious :) really happy with everything else as i said though
I have been using the saves from the last couple years and on day 366 “in game days”. Total hours of play time os gonna be difficult to say since the updates and patches are somewhat constant. But maybe if you played from start to current patch end constantly and nonstop, maybe 2-3 weeks. Theres alot of content
On average, people are reporting around 40-50 hours. Much less if you skip through all the dialogue and don't look for the hidden scenes, and much more if you're trying to discover absolutely everything :)
I've already as the same question as you months ago, and this is the answer from developer you need: no. because it will be complicated to add the voice / moan sound effect from the beginning up to current content. His later project maybe have moaning sound.
ps: Sorry if anything I remember is not 100% exactly.
No voice/moan acting, since 1) the system isn't set up for it, and 2) I would need individual voice/moan files for every girl and that would be both extremely difficult to source and would bloat the game's filesize considerably, given how many girls there are in the game.
Next game probably, as I'll be designing it with that sort of thing in mind - and the character count will be much more under control ;)
I'm going to be shocked if you actually make another game and update that weekly, with sound files, but you should take breaks when you're exhausted!
Although I am waiting for more content and currently not enjoying what you recently release, which I'm really holding myself back to get even more invested in the story,
I bring fear that this might get cancelled or dropped due to you having stress or being overworked to provide updates, or people getting impatient or more demanding.
Like this so far is one of the biggest, ongoing and interesting-est (to me) visual novels so far, and I wanna be along waiting the updates to the very end, and even wait for your next game whenever that comes out!
oh i totally get that, yeah that'd be so crazy to deal with lol also obviously it'd also be hard, but have you thought of hand picking a few scenes to sort of "re do" with sounds/moans? like a treat for people before christmas or something lol
I am impressed - i thought this was going to be a simple adventure game with simple mechanics and very little story...I WAS WRONG. the game play at first is simple but it builds up in layers that are well captivating to say the least. the only CON i can see is its not done... but there is several hours of game play. i have put in at lease 40hours before getting to chapter 3. the stories are enticing as well as the girls. i would like to see the addition of a petite Femboy but thats my personal opinion.
Femboys are always featured as a possibility in the monthly polls over on SubStar, but they're always way down at the bottom of the list (and they would be released as free DLC if they ever got enough votes, as I'm aware it's something not everyone enjoys).
FREE DLC, IF THAT WERE TO EXIST? Dude, you're both amazing, and insane, instead of profiting you seem to genuinely just want to appeal to the audience. Again, you're amazing.
Really did not expect this game to be as good as it is, seemed like a good fap from the images but I didn't expect a great story written in fully coherent english without any grammar- or spelling errors that I have noticed. I am currently approaching the end of the currently available content, so it seems like I will be sitting and impatiently waiting for updates to a porn game that I thought could keep me occupied for like a night or two.
New updates every two weeks, and I work hard to ensure that all save files are compatible with every new update (but make sure to save in your bedroom if you're worried - that's always a "safe" location). In the five years I've been working on the game, no update has ever broken user saves :)
I like the game alot but sometimes when I'm running the game it's stops responding in some sections like when you are in the bathroom with Chloe the game just stops responding is this a glitch in computer or is it the game if this ever happened to you please reply
If it's happening when movie files are supposed to play, then this sounds like a driver issue. If it happens more or less randomly then it could be a corrupted download.
Make sure that all your drivers are up to date and then fully power down your device (not restart! Full power down!) and turn it back on again. If that doesn't work, try redownloading the game and - if you're on PC - make sure to extract it to a fresh location.
Hey, I just wanted to let people know that when I was checking the download for malware and the likes on virustotal, I got the warning Trogan.Malware.300983.susgen from a company called Maxsecure which most people consider to be shady, I got this warning when I checked the game application itself, but when i checked all the other files I got no other warnings so it may just be a false positive, but I wanted to let the dev know so they could maybe look into it and to let the community know about this before downloading anything.
It's a false positive :) Generally speaking, anytime you get a single ping it's a false positive.
Also, pretty much all anti-virus suites are worse than useless (they provide single points of entry to black hats and create a lot of bloat) but Virustotal is ranked pretty low even by those standards (B or C tier). I'd strongly advise just keeping your Windows Defender updated and downloading Malwarebytes once a month for a general sweep.
Finally, just to put your mind at ease (and anyone else who reads this), here's a Reddit post (one among many, but do your own research!) that talks about this exact detection:
One of the commenters also remarks on the validity of "Maxsecure". Could be true or could be false, but from a brief sweep of the internet it seems like you should be more afraid of them than anything else :P

its all good, I just wanted to you and others be aware of it, i ran the test on virus total and yeah i was thinking it might of been a false positive and the security vendor maxsecure does look shady, though i do admit i dont understand why people felt the need to downvote the comment when i was just trying to let people know about something i found that should atleast be considered when downloading.
Hidden Voices appears to be broken for several characters in Act 2, with anyone not having a character paperdoll in act 3 having their talkChar value improperly updated. Ard becomes cmDefaultBoy instead of cmArd, the Lamia in the mountains retains the value of cmRobinThink or Talk from the previous line written, etc. Most of the time this results in NPCs having the "I shouldn't try to read minds while speaking its too confusing" or "I can't hear their voice, its like its muffled somehow." lines.
As a result some scenes like with the Lamia are actually locked off an inaccessible, while other scenes may still advance but the player won't be able to get the necessary context they should from hearing the character's normal thoughts.
Most of the housemates work, but this seems to be because they are the ones who have paperdolls. I suspect assigning talkChar based on the base image for the paperdoll is the problem. You should probably check that file, or just use a switch statement that checks characters' display names instead of doing anything too clever with image files. In programming clever is only clever until your foot has a bullet in it.
Hidden Voices functions a lot better in v0.21.8, but I'm in the process of pushing an improved "mind reading" system and it's not fully transferred over yet. It will improve with each update. Sorry for the inconvenience!

ANYWAY, keep up the good work! Just wondering, since you try and update every 2 weeks or so, how hard is it to squash all the bugs? I follow another dev who updates monthly and about half of the stuff is "fixed issue that got past me the last time".
Pixie informs me that she has no idea what you're talking about, she's not sneaking into your home at night, and that you should buy some mint choc chip next time.
Thanks for the kind words, and to answer your question: bug squashing can take anywhere from one day up to most of a week, depending on the number, severity and complexity. Fortunately a very generous player named Chris helps me out with tech support, but even so it can be a huge time commitment.
It's one reason why I like updating every two weeks - it means that players aren't left wrestling with bugs for too long (and anything game-breaking I always release a patched version within 12 hours) :)

I'd love to, but Patreon are... shall we say, a little erratic when it comes to their community support. this game is legit good. it takes something that exists, makes something with it that is new and actually like genuinely well made and written and also hell'a fun! this is one of the first games i give a 10 out of 10 on in 4 years!
Your top bar? There should be a triangular icon on the left hand side of the screen - clicking that opens the top nav bar. If that doesn't exist then it's glitched out and you need to move to a location that forces it to reappear (sleeping should guarantee its reappearance).
If you can remember what it was that you were doing when your bar disappeared, please let me know so I can track the glitch down and... deal with it.
I will be commissioning translators once the game enters beta (I update too quickly and redo too much content for translators to keep up efficiently right now), and French will be one of the languages :)

Is there no way to skip chapters? Now that the game is pretty long I feel like we need some way to skip chapters in case we change devices or delete the game, or at least a guide with the choices and consequences to do everything as fast as possible to get to the new content
Guide I can agree with just skipping to new content nope I would rather play and see new stuff or see the outcome of choosing different choices. However that is just me and I would never give anyone actual shit for something like that. Granted a relationship stat tracker in game would be nice. Also a choice tracker would also be nice that way you know what choices you made and if you wanted to do another playthrough which choices to do differently.

So quick question, a long time a character was added named the "Shopkeep" however, I never found them in any version of the game, so some of the fights took hours. I'm just updating to the newest version, and I'm wondering if there is any way for me to find them? Got any ideas people?
that game is good, but it has a lot of horror, including H scenes, so keep that in mind. also, id advise getting the itch io app that way updates are a lot easier and you dont have to redownload a bunch. tbh, i still prefer CK, but i also havent even got to the 2nd chapter of that game and ive put hours into it.
There is a bunch of good games on here though partial to this and a Goddess's Whim myself. Granted Eternum,Stray incubus, and Peerless Lust are not bad either my issue with the last one is i was shown a wolf girl but I was not allowed to have said wolf girl. That is a violation your not allowed to show a animal eared girl and then deny the mc the animal eared girl unless its a side character.

I did say maybe, what can I say? My time scale sucks. Course I tend to take my time and read each line lol

its all good, I just wanted to you and others be aware of it, i ran the test on virus total and yeah i was thinking it might of been a false positive and the security vendor maxsecure does look shady, though i do admit i dont understand why people felt the need to downvote the comment when i was just trying to let people know about something i found that should atleast be considered when downloading.
Hidden Voices appears to be broken for several characters in Act 2, with anyone not having a character paperdoll in act 3 having their talkChar value improperly updated. Ard becomes cmDefaultBoy instead of cmArd, the Lamia in the mountains retains the value of cmRobinThink or Talk from the previous line written, etc. Most of the time this results in NPCs having the "I shouldn't try to read minds while speaking its too confusing" or "I can't hear their voice, its like its muffled somehow." lines.
As a result some scenes like with the Lamia are actually locked off an inaccessible, while other scenes may still advance but the player won't be able to get the necessary context they should from hearing the character's normal thoughts.
Most of the housemates work, but this seems to be because they are the ones who have paperdolls. I suspect assigning talkChar based on the base image for the paperdoll is the problem. You should probably check that file, or just use a switch statement that checks characters' display names instead of doing anything too clever with image files. In programming clever is only clever until your foot has a bullet in it.
Hidden Voices functions a lot better in v0.21.8, but I'm in the process of pushing an improved "mind reading" system and it's not fully transferred over yet. It will improve with each update. Sorry for the inconvenience!

ANYWAY, keep up the good work! Just wondering, since you try and update every 2 weeks or so, how hard is it to squash all the bugs? I follow another dev who updates monthly and about half of the stuff is "fixed issue that got past me the last time".
Pixie informs me that she has no idea what you're talking about, she's not sneaking into your home at night, and that you should buy some mint choc chip next time.
Thanks for the kind words, and to answer your question: bug squashing can take anywhere from one day up to most of a week, depending on the number, severity and complexity. Fortunately a very generous player named Chris helps me out with tech support, but even so it can be a huge time commitment.
It's one reason why I like updating every two weeks - it means that players aren't left wrestling with bugs for too long (and anything game-breaking I always release a patched version within 12 hours) :)
Hey dev, I really wanna support the game but subscribestar doesnt support my payment. So, would it be possible to make new patreon account and put a short spin-off game or just some art on it? I'd love to, but Patreon are... shall we say, a little erratic when it comes to their community support. I'll be trying to create a new Patreon page very soon, but there's zero guarantee that it will work. I have been told I need to contact their community support team for permission to create a new page, but in the four years I was with them I never once got a response to an email.

I agree with this, sadly, I have been trying to create a patreon account for the better part of a year or more. Each time, I dont get past account name creation page. Contacted the admins several times and get the same response.

this game is legit good. it takes something that exists, makes something with it that is new and actually like genuinely well made and written and also hell'a fun! this is one of the first games i give a 10 out of 10 on in 4 years!

Your top bar? There should be a triangular icon on the left hand side of the screen - clicking that opens the top nav bar. If that doesn't exist then it's glitched out and you need to move to a location that forces it to reappear (sleeping should guarantee its reappearance).
If you can remember what it was that you were doing when your bar disappeared, please let me know so I can track the glitch down and... deal with it.

Is there no way to skip chapters? Now that the game is pretty long I feel like we need some way to skip chapters in case we change devices or delete the game, or at least a guide with the choices and consequences to do everything as fast as possible to get to the new content
Guide I can agree with just skipping to new content nope I would rather play and see new stuff or see the outcome of choosing different choices. However that is just me and I would never give anyone actual shit for something like that. Granted a relationship stat tracker in game would be nice. Also a choice tracker would also be nice that way you know what choices you made and if you wanted to do another playthrough which choices to do differently.

So quick question, a long time a character was added named the "Shopkeep" however, I never found them in any version of the game, so some of the fights took hours. I'm just updating to the newest version, and I'm wondering if there is any way for me to find them? Got any ideas people?

that game is good, but it has a lot of horror, including H scenes, so keep that in mind. also, id advise getting the itch io app that way updates are a lot easier and you dont have to redownload a bunch. tbh, i still prefer CK, but i also havent even got to the 2nd chapter of that game and ive put hours into it.
There is a bunch of good games on here though partial to this and a Goddess's Whim myself. Granted Eternum,Stray incubus, and Peerless Lust are not bad either my issue with the last one is i was shown a wolf girl but I was not allowed to have said wolf girl. That is a violation your not allowed to show a animal eared girl and then deny the mc the animal eared girl unless its a side character.
In between act 2 and 3, before I go further in, so I can reload and pick otherwise/feel more secure in my choice.
