If by "play as a girl, regardless of sex" you mean will I add the ability to choose female pronouns, it's unlikely but depending on player demand it's possible. As with everything else, I have to balance "how much time will this take?" with "how much demand is there for it?" Currently, you're the only person who's asked for it so demand would appear to be low. But if more people request it, then I'll push it further up my list of "things to add" :)

Sounds like an issue with the keyboard app. There's hundreds of them, but Ren'py only officially supports the top few - everything else is a crapshoot. Download the official GBoard (Google keyboard) app and switch across when typing in-game. That will work.

Hey, I've just stepped into the world of creating VN's, and I was wondering what art applications everyone uses in order to create the art for the games(BG, characters, etc)? Currently using Ren'Py to create the VN's, as I've heard good things about it.
Not sure how many have caught an error (unless it's been noticed in the Discord that I'm not part of), but there was an exception error when Pixie wanted to talk during an important scene (I won't spoil much here). I did capture the error log if any of the CK dev members wish to see it.

anytime i do any of the repeatable naughty scenes the game black screens and keeps making the sound of someone talking endlessly (it doesnt crash just never stops beeping at me even with the voice muted)

Not sure why you got downvoted, it's a perfectly legitimate concern.
Nothing's changed in the SDK or fundemental code since 0.21.6a so if it's suddenly crashing for you then it's an issue with your device I'm afraid. Could be a lack of storage space, corrupted drivers, or an OS update that's interacting badly with Ren'py.
Try clearing up some space and then fully power down your device (NOT restart - a full power off). If it's a storage or driver issue then that will fix the problem.
I have a problem I have a oppo phone and when I press to download the files there is a message that says my download has failed. Has anyone had this problem? Or you know how to fix it?
hey, just curious if there's something i can do with the lamia when you explore near gramps, and the uuuh, groundskeeper for the fey you run into by exploring too, forgot her name/title unless thats right lol i went to act 3, and had to back track to a file in act 2 as close to the end as possible and i want to get everything done thats in the game :o (can't believe i missed the whole college experience first time through lol)
side note, the kids in the game are so fucking adorable, you did that whole pregnancy update thing amazingly, how are they so cute lol
Interaction with the Lamia is unfortunately temporarily disabled while I migrate the new Hidden Voices system across, but once that's done you'll be able to read her mind and engage in certain... activities with her.
Caretaker has no interactions just yet. Look for more from her in Act Three! :)
I made an itchio account just to say thank you for somehow simultaneously making a donationware game that is also one of the best hentai games ever made. I was not expecting just how many hours of content this was gonna have, as most games of this kind aren't longer than 5 hours. I am an extremely fast reader and was speeding through dialogue and it was several hours before I even reached act 2 where I feel like the true game really begins. I feel like just reading through all the H-scenes might take you an hour. I encountered one grammatical error and zero bugs or graphical issues the entire time. Incredible level of polish that far exceeds studios with serious budgets.
Personally, I didn't like the H-scenes that much since they are very vanilla and I like much kinkier and extreme stuff, but the actual story, writing and power system elevates things a lot and kept me engaged for way longer than it would have otherwise. At the very least I wish there was more visible penetration shots or alternate dialogues for anal like we had with Alexa; for a game about totally dominating women you would think there would have been more anal and kinky stuff. Coding the alternate dialogue wouldn't be a lot of work right? and with how much the penetration isn't shown, its a letdown to me every time. If I had the MC's power I know that I would be DEFILING these bitches. To give you an idea of my expectations, I was drawn to playing the game by the animation of Annie being hooked up to a milking machine. Also wish there were more post-creampie shots like with the mother/daughter who are selling the house (great scene btw); a lot of H-scenes lacked that cut to an angle of the girl dripping cum, ahegao, and spreading their ass which is a shame.
I'm only about 15 hours into the game so far so take my criticisms with a grain of salt because they might be totally irrelevant as the game progresses; unfortunately I am just not gonna progress further because its too vanilla for me considering the time investment required. I think if the H-scenes are someone's cup of tea then this would be the first H-game I would recommend them 10/10. If you ever make a kinkier game in the future I will be sure to buy it.
Also, Pixie is best girl. I wonder how much money you could make if you were selling a Pixie onahole.
I think really my biggest disappointment with this is the mc's power isn't really his and sadly he is completely human(One day I will find a werewolf mc or a human turned Eldritch of Lust). Had found some decent Incubi mc characters recently so i was hoping still on the search for the holy grail of mcs though. At the same time when you mentioned Eldritch I was hoping i had finally found one of these where your a budding Eldritch of Lust and you slowly accumulate power to become an Elder God of Lust. At the same time of the mind control VNS I have scene yours at least doesn't feel completely evil kind has World Tamer feel to it. Also if you add a way to join the Eldritch I would take it lol.Still good VN but my search for the holy Grail of VNS continues.
Actually there is an event in a city where you met a girl that has a boyfriend and a flat, and two girls (white and brunete) when you are compared to boyfriend of one of the two
the discord said it automatically transferred to the latest version when u update i would still copy the save file just in case (for Android it says it is not safe to delete the game u will lose ur saves)
pixel has a "human" form (the black hair green shirt) that i really don't know how to unlock even tho im in "end game" chapter 3 and i only want to know in which chapter im abble to unlock this form and in which update it was added (so i can read the development log)

Another question, so when it comes to Dhena's quest in act three, it says that I need access to the shops. The shops are past the church, and you can't get past the church, but in the leads tab it doesn't say that the content is unavailable. Am I missing something?
I just started the game and I was on a loop of the same first event. It went like this: I arrived, slept, Morgana quest (control on Pixie), then after 2 days of sleeping got up, get a call from gramps, Morgana quest (control on Pixie), 2 days of sleeping, another time Morgana quest (control on Pixie) and done. So at day 5 I've got 3 Morgana quests and also 3 artifact thorn and 3 (equal) beast leads. I don't know what triggered the loop only 3 times.

Stuck on the bridge after doing the night chittering event, got lynx and everything but no idea how to progress past the bridge in order to get to the shops for the ingredients for lynx, any help would be appreciated
Hey! So I've reached the part where we are in the latest update, and I've unlocked the wandering merchant, delt with Maven, conquered everything I can, and am at a bottleneck with the church. From there, I can't seem to find any other ways to progress, I've checked every location and talked with every character, Kana is still knocked out, and I haven't found Lyx yet. Is there anyway to progress that I'm missing, or have I reached the end of what's currently released? Great game btw, one of the best I've seen!
To unlock Lyx you need to have Claire in the Manor. To get Claire, you need to have conquered the Bridge and the Apartments and then done the nighttime event on the Bridge (with the Chitterings).
Once you've conquered those two locations and done the Chitterings event, Claire will appear one night when you sleep. After that, Lyx will appear some time when you sleep and you will get a Lead. Follow the the lead to unlock Lyx, which in turn will unlock more events.
I think this is where I may be stuck but since I'm so far ahead, I don't want to start over. Maybe I'll just start at a certain point and just pay extra close attention.
Oh!! I see what I was doing wrong. There's two versions that pop up when you click launch game and I've been playing the wrong version. If you're stuck like I was, make sure you always choose the second option because that's the latest option

Welp, I’m gonna have to wipe my current progress. Hard to believe its been going for a couple years now. Sadly, I still cant get Emma out of her room. I did every side quest everyone told me to do but she seems to be bugging.
I’m gonna chalk it up to a saving issue. Gotta say, good having Kana back and whoa those naughty fairies at Lyx cottage.
The way Ren'py works is that there's no individual user bugs unless someone's been manually digging into the code and altering variables. If something's broken, it's broken for everyone.
To get Emma out of her room you need to have Claire in the Manor. Then simply go to Emma's door during the afternoon and watch the event. You have to do this a few times! Eventually she'll open the door.
If you have Claire, and you've seen the event at Emma's door multiple times, and you're stuck in some kind of loop, let me know exactly where you're looping and I'll dig into the code to see if something's gone screwy.
I have Claire, annoying little snot nosed blonde brat. I visited Emma multiple times for, gosh maybe a weeks worth “in game days”. Nothing, Emma would do her usual cute stammering for the MC to go away.
Now, I managed to get past it finally. Not sure how or why. But suddenly it just randomly started going through. It was nice to see the brats softer “sisterly” side.
And here I was worried I would have had to dump my save and restart fresh.
just curious, so far the graphics, story, everything really is great, and i'm really enjoying my playthrough. just wondering, is there any plans for voice acting, or "moan acting" with the girls during the cutscenes? clearly that'd be a process with getting voices and whatever the cost is, but i'm just curious :) really happy with everything else as i said though
I have been using the saves from the last couple years and on day 366 “in game days”. Total hours of play time os gonna be difficult to say since the updates and patches are somewhat constant. But maybe if you played from start to current patch end constantly and nonstop, maybe 2-3 weeks. Theres alot of content
On average, people are reporting around 40-50 hours. Much less if you skip through all the dialogue and don't look for the hidden scenes, and much more if you're trying to discover absolutely everything :)
I've already as the same question as you months ago, and this is the answer from developer you need: no. because it will be complicated to add the voice / moan sound effect from the beginning up to current content. His later project maybe have moaning sound.
ps: Sorry if anything I remember is not 100% exactly.
No voice/moan acting, since 1) the system isn't set up for it, and 2) I would need individual voice/moan files for every girl and that would be both extremely difficult to source and would bloat the game's filesize considerably, given how many girls there are in the game.
Next game probably, as I'll be designing it with that sort of thing in mind - and the character count will be much more under control ;)
I'm going to be shocked if you actually make another game and update that weekly, with sound files, but you should take breaks when you're exhausted!
Although I am waiting for more content and currently not enjoying what you recently release, which I'm really holding myself back to get even more invested in the story,
I bring fear that this might get cancelled or dropped due to you having stress or being overworked to provide updates, or people getting impatient or more demanding.
Like this so far is one of the biggest, ongoing and interesting-est (to me) visual novels so far, and I wanna be along waiting the updates to the very end, and even wait for your next game whenever that comes out!
oh i totally get that, yeah that'd be so crazy to deal with lol also obviously it'd also be hard, but have you thought of hand picking a few scenes to sort of "re do" with sounds/moans? like a treat for people before christmas or something lol
I am impressed - i thought this was going to be a simple adventure game with simple mechanics and very little story...I WAS WRONG. the game play at first is simple but it builds up in layers that are well captivating to say the least. the only CON i can see is its not done... but there is several hours of game play. i have put in at lease 40hours before getting to chapter 3. the stories are enticing as well as the girls. i would like to see the addition of a petite Femboy but thats my personal opinion.
Femboys are always featured as a possibility in the monthly polls over on SubStar, but they're always way down at the bottom of the list (and they would be released as free DLC if they ever got enough votes, as I'm aware it's something not everyone enjoys).
FREE DLC, IF THAT WERE TO EXIST? Dude, you're both amazing, and insane, instead of profiting you seem to genuinely just want to appeal to the audience. Again, you're amazing.
Really did not expect this game to be as good as it is, seemed like a good fap from the images but I didn't expect a great story written in fully coherent english without any grammar- or spelling errors that I have noticed. I am currently approaching the end of the currently available content, so it seems like I will be sitting and impatiently waiting for updates to a porn game that I thought could keep me occupied for like a night or two.
New updates every two weeks, and I work hard to ensure that all save files are compatible with every new update (but make sure to save in your bedroom if you're worried - that's always a "safe" location). In the five years I've been working on the game, no update has ever broken user saves :)

The quest page should tell you everything you need. Also the heart page at the bottom has a hint for special things related to that character
It doesn't, just says its the end until future updates for every character.

Might be a storage issue? Or you haven't turned on certain permissions on your phone? Could be any number of things, sorry.

Hey! So I've reached the part where we are in the latest update, and I've unlocked the wandering merchant, delt with Maven, conquered everything I can, and am at a bottleneck with the church. From there, I can't seem to find any other ways to progress, I've checked every location and talked with every character, Kana is still knocked out, and I haven't found Lyx yet. Is there anyway to progress that I'm missing, or have I reached the end of what's currently released? Great game btw, one of the best I've seen!

To unlock Lyx you need to have Claire in the Manor. To get Claire, you need to have conquered the Bridge and the Apartments and then done the nighttime event on the Bridge (with the Chitterings).
Once you've conquered those two locations and done the Chitterings event, Claire will appear one night when you sleep. After that, Lyx will appear some time when you sleep and you will get a Lead. Follow the the lead to unlock Lyx, which in turn will unlock more events.

I think this is where I may be stuck but since I'm so far ahead, I don't want to start over. Maybe I'll just start at a certain point and just pay extra close attention.
Oh!! I see what I was doing wrong. There's two versions that pop up when you click launch game and I've been playing the wrong version. If you're stuck like I was, make sure you always choose the second option because that's the latest option
Hey i just got into this and have been playing for a few days and stumbled onto my first problem and wanted to ask if theres anyway to fix it? This doesn't let me go through chloe's route :-: (Im on the android version)

This should be fixed in v0.21.7. If not, it's definitely fixed in v0.21.8 which has just been released to the public :)
Welp, I’m gonna have to wipe my current progress. Hard to believe its been going for a couple years now. Sadly, I still cant get Emma out of her room. I did every side quest everyone told me to do but she seems to be bugging.
I’m gonna chalk it up to a saving issue. Gotta say, good having Kana back and whoa those naughty fairies at Lyx cottage.

The way Ren'py works is that there's no individual user bugs unless someone's been manually digging into the code and altering variables. If something's broken, it's broken for everyone.
To get Emma out of her room you need to have Claire in the Manor. Then simply go to Emma's door during the afternoon and watch the event. You have to do this a few times! Eventually she'll open the door.
If you have Claire, and you've seen the event at Emma's door multiple times, and you're stuck in some kind of loop, let me know exactly where you're looping and I'll dig into the code to see if something's gone screwy.
I have Claire, annoying little snot nosed blonde brat. I visited Emma multiple times for, gosh maybe a weeks worth “in game days”. Nothing, Emma would do her usual cute stammering for the MC to go away.
Now, I managed to get past it finally. Not sure how or why. But suddenly it just randomly started going through. It was nice to see the brats softer “sisterly” side.
And here I was worried I would have had to dump my save and restart fresh.
just curious, so far the graphics, story, everything really is great, and i'm really enjoying my playthrough. just wondering, is there any plans for voice acting, or "moan acting" with the girls during the cutscenes? clearly that'd be a process with getting voices and whatever the cost is, but i'm just curious :) really happy with everything else as i said though

I have been using the saves from the last couple years and on day 366 “in game days”. Total hours of play time os gonna be difficult to say since the updates and patches are somewhat constant. But maybe if you played from start to current patch end constantly and nonstop, maybe 2-3 weeks. Theres alot of content

I did say maybe, what can I say? My time scale sucks. Course I tend to take my time and read each line lol
I'm cooped up in my apartment 24/7 so I was doing 18 hour days.
On average, people are reporting around 40-50 hours. Much less if you skip through all the dialogue and don't look for the hidden scenes, and much more if you're trying to discover absolutely everything :)
I've already as the same question as you months ago, and this is the answer from developer you need: no. because it will be complicated to add the voice / moan sound effect from the beginning up to current content. His later project maybe have moaning sound.
ps: Sorry if anything I remember is not 100% exactly.
No voice/moan acting, since 1) the system isn't set up for it, and 2) I would need individual voice/moan files for every girl and that would be both extremely difficult to source and would bloat the game's filesize considerably, given how many girls there are in the game.
Next game probably, as I'll be designing it with that sort of thing in mind - and the character count will be much more under control ;)
I'm going to be shocked if you actually make another game and update that weekly, with sound files, but you should take breaks when you're exhausted!
Although I am waiting for more content and currently not enjoying what you recently release, which I'm really holding myself back to get even more invested in the story,
I bring fear that this might get cancelled or dropped due to you having stress or being overworked to provide updates, or people getting impatient or more demanding.
Like this so far is one of the biggest, ongoing and interesting-est (to me) visual novels so far, and I wanna be along waiting the updates to the very end, and even wait for your next game whenever that comes out!
oh i totally get that, yeah that'd be so crazy to deal with lol also obviously it'd also be hard, but have you thought of hand picking a few scenes to sort of "re do" with sounds/moans? like a treat for people before christmas or something lol
I am impressed - i thought this was going to be a simple adventure game with simple mechanics and very little story...I WAS WRONG. the game play at first is simple but it builds up in layers that are well captivating to say the least. the only CON i can see is its not done... but there is several hours of game play. i have put in at lease 40hours before getting to chapter 3. the stories are enticing as well as the girls. i would like to see the addition of a petite Femboy but thats my personal opinion.
I absolutely agree! Needs some hot fembois to ensnare and enslave to keep the bed warm…. Uh among other things

Femboys are always featured as a possibility in the monthly polls over on SubStar, but they're always way down at the bottom of the list (and they would be released as free DLC if they ever got enough votes, as I'm aware it's something not everyone enjoys).
FREE DLC, IF THAT WERE TO EXIST? Dude, you're both amazing, and insane, instead of profiting you seem to genuinely just want to appeal to the audience. Again, you're amazing.
Really did not expect this game to be as good as it is, seemed like a good fap from the images but I didn't expect a great story written in fully coherent english without any grammar- or spelling errors that I have noticed. I am currently approaching the end of the currently available content, so it seems like I will be sitting and impatiently waiting for updates to a porn game that I thought could keep me occupied for like a night or two.
10/10, I hope updates don't break saves.

New updates every two weeks, and I work hard to ensure that all save files are compatible with every new update (but make sure to save in your bedroom if you're worried - that's always a "safe" location). In the five years I've been working on the game, no update has ever broken user saves :)
