Not enough storage space is probably the answer, as TotallyNotASimp suggested. Android requires around 4-5 times the size of the app as free storage when installing so you'll need around 6GB or more free on your device.

all jokes aside, I find myself really wanting a check list in the form of that wiki being updated lmao. Idk who works on it mind you. So far I am pretty sure I've done just about everything in act 2 at least 3 times just to see if anything new happens (like unlocking the apartments after a few visits). I am fairly certain I don't have any stone left unturned except Lyx locations. Think I've only got places like the club, the train stations, and the offices and business locations that I haven't seen her at. And I'm just unsure if she doesn't go near there. Like I'm convinced she avoids the church. But idk bout these other spots. And it seems hella random where she will pop up... spent like 20 days just checking around to see if she will show up or not in all the places.
At this point, I think when the next update drops (with the combat/conquer system you have talked about) is when I will finally dive into act 3. Keep up the awesome work dude, and try not to over work yourself, ya? Taking breaks is mandatory lol even if you gotta delay a bit ;P we will understand and still support you m8
The wiki is actually entirely updated by players so feel free to add to it if you discover something not listed! Apart from that you can go to the Discord and pester people into working on it more ;)
I'd like to do some real work on it myself, but I work on CK seven days a week so I just don't have time unfortunately :P Maybe once CK enters beta I'll put aside a day or two to really go through everything.
The Combat/Conquer system will be released in the first (or second - it's really kicking my butt!) week of February, so I hope you enjoy it! And thanks for the kind words - no rest for me until the system is released, but I'll likely take a week to recover once it's out and stable.
just try not to overdo it dude. I've known to many creators, art and otherwise, that work themselves into poor health. Try and make some you time when you can :)

I'm at version v0.17.5 because when I try to install the new updates this happens even though it is installed.
Are you trying to install through the Itch App or are you downloading the full APK and installing it manually? If it's the latter, then:
1. Make sure you have at least 5GB+ storage space free (Android needs about 4-5x as much free space as apps require to install them)
2. DO NOT delete the previous version! Install on top of it
3. Use SplitAPK installer ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aefyr.sai&hl=en_GB&gl=US ) which gives a higher chance of success and - on failure - a much more useful error log.
If you're trying to install via the Itch App then that's an Itch issue and unfortunately you'll have to get in touch with their support team, sorry!

Ngl I havent installed the new updates since the 1.17.2 update cus im waiting for big daddy arcade to get atleast half way through the story for this arc (act) cus I wanna hop in and have lots of content. Though i will ask some questions (im too lazy to ask on the discord)
1: What'll happen to ghost festival.
2: Are the side gals alright.
3: Are my kids hurt? If an enemy so much as looks at them I will make them infertile, paraplegic, and break their will via gruesome ways.
4: Will we be able to figure out more about the rinkos and their lore?
5: Will MC gain a gun or some sort of weapon other than magic? (Om goodness you should totally add a sword and the MC imbues it with some sort of awesome magic)
Something tells me Arc isn't going to give a straight answer...
Once the Combat/Conquer systems are in place (next update or the one after that, possibly) there will be a lot of content as you train and work your way through the various districts :)
As for your questions:
1. The Ghost Festival, as with the other events and locations, will either have a role to play in the war or else will have been destroyed/vanished. No festival for Kana, for example, as nobody's feeling particularly festive :P
2. Some of them are! Others... not so much.
3. They're probably fine. Isolated... right next to your arch-nemesis' demesne... on a farm... with only Annie and Kana to guard them for the last three months... yeah, they're probably fine!
4. A little bit more, but the Act Two finale was the last timeskip so if you want to know what happens to the Rinkos, Nuli and Luna then you'll have to play the sequels! :)
5. MC starts with a sword (that's what I'm modelling the combat system around right now) and will later be able to find and equip other weapons such as guns, magical staves, and so on.

Best game I've ever played, I say this with complete certainty of what I say, but I have a question, in the part of the Fey investigation at the Morgana mansion I'm stuck because Ami's diary is gone, should it happen or is it a bug ?
Pretty sure the diary was a once or twice use during that whole section. Just gotta go around and talk to all the others and figure out what you missed if you can't progress.

As Angel says, the diary is only used once or twice and then it's done. After that you need to use people's witness statements to find contradictions and confront the person who seems to be lying.

This game is one of the best games that I have found on this, and the dev, Arcadean, does respond to every comment, even if it is a joke, like most of mine. For example, when a bug that caused you to get income in act 3 was removed, I commented about The Power of Capatalism (TM), to which arc jokingly replied "Turns out the Power of Capitalism is remarkably weak to fire." One of the best devs ever

So, i'm on android, i press start, tap, first words, and game crashes. I've tried reinstalling the app and downloading the apk again. Any idea what's wrong?
Firstly, try turning your phone on and off again. It sounds like a joke, but it legitimately solves 90% of reported issues.
Secondly, it might be a storage space issue - make sure you have as much free space as possible (Android requires a lot of space for apps)
Thirdly, it could be your device's keyboard. If you're not already, try downloading and switching to the GBoard ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.inputmethod.lat... ), which is guaranteed to work.
Fourthly, it could be that your device and OS version just doesn't play nicely with Ren'py, unfortunately. In that case, you can download the JoiPlay app from the Google Play Store ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cyou.joiplay.joiplay&hl=en_GB&gl=U... ) and run the WIN/LINUX version through it.
I hope one of those suggestions fixes your issue! Sorry for the inconvenience :(

You just have to copy your save folder in the older version and paste it into the proper place in the new version
You can try using the Itch App which will update the game for you after you install it again using the app.
Otherwise just download the new version, install it, open it, and your saved games are all still right there. Saves are stored in a different folder on the computer, so even if you delete the folder with the old version of the game, your saves are still available for the new version to use.
In either case you'll still have to download the game again at least one more time, but your old saves are preserved without you having to do anything extra.
use the itch app, its what I do.
granted you might have to restart from begining the first time (unless you copy save file across) BUT, you wont have to redo it every update then, as it will keep your save file and just update
Just a quick note here to say that even if the Itch app deletes your manual saves you can still load your autosaves! Just click on the "A" at the bottom of the load page, to the left of the page numbers :)

Not sure what i should do. I'm attempting a new game and in the flat pixie says to take a walk and come back during the day because of someone shes been seeing outside, but a few weeks in game have gone by and i cant get anything else to trigger. wasn't sure what else to do so thought id ask here.
Have you met Emma yet? In the morning, leave the flat and go somewhere. the Shops, for instance, and then just go right back to the flat - no need to advance time. You should run into Emma.

yes, there is a way to move from one place to another your saves, although I play it on Android I guess it will be the same, you have to go to the root of the game and there you will find your saves, sorry not to be very specific but I really do not know where they are saved.

As Starr says, yes, it's absolutely possible - saves can be moved between devices and even different OS'es do problem. You can even move them from your PC to your phone and back again if you want :)

Sorry to ask, but I know this is too early, but is there a post game in the end? Whereas we can do the possible scenes/h with the girls or other stuff? Or once the game ends, it's literally ends completely without us able to explore the city as usual?
currently there are 3 acts available which in 2 of them you can explore the whole city and surroundings as well as the beach and the mountains once in act 3 you will not be able to explore the city as usual until further updates.
What I meant was once the game is completely done 100%. I'm just curious if we are still able to explore places or does the game has post-game which we are still able to do the usual.
We won't honestly know any time soon, unless Arc wants to confirm. And Arc tends to enjoy leaving us in suspense for what's to come lol.
He has confirmed there will be other games, but that's really the extent of there being any "end game" talk that I've seen.

I'm going to have to redo a good portion of my game because I killed off two of the characters who were supposed to live in the mansion, but another chance has taught me that shi is common in these kinds of games. Ck is great I love it PLAY IT NOW.

It's the weight of all these choices adding up though. So far, the most entertaining way to play imo has been to be as nice as possible. Save everyone where you can. It tends to really come into effect down the road.
I have been semi tempted to do a "bad/evil" run, but I rarely do that as is... and it wouldn't be something I would do until the game is nearing the end release at least.

You have to teach multiple classes, it's a gradual growth.
It's slow, but you can do a number of things to speed it up. Find books, talk to certain people, maybe buy something from a mysterious merchant somewhere.

Yes, the plan is for every girl (not the kids!) to have at least one h-scene by the time to game is completed :) The only exceptions to that are the Artifact and the Mysterious Merchant, who likely won't have h-scenes as they're special and will have roles to play in future CK games.

I presume it Koikatsu thingy. If I not forgotten you can check it on credits or about menu in the game.

As Edelnag said, it's Koikatsu plus the DLCs and a hefty dose of mods on top :) If you can read Japanese then I advise getting the Koikatsu version from Illusion's storefront - otherwise, you can find it on Steam where it's called "Koikatsu Party".

Steam has an extremely generous returns policy (play the game for less than two hours, for less than two weeks, and you get a full refund no questions asked) so you can give the software a try and if you don't like it just return it :)
If you do like it then I strongly suggest getting mods for it, which you can find all over the place, and which drastically increase the amazing things you can do with the software.
Lastly, I'd advise joining a Discord server - like mine! - where people can help you out, give you advice, and where you can post your creations for others to enjoy.

1. Koikatsu if you want more anime style, HS2 if you want a more "realistic" style. HS2 is their latest release so its toolset, lighting and character posing is better but it can't get that anime look that KK can.
2. Depending on how deep into the modding community you want to go it could end up astronomically high. For a good baseline I'd say have at least 50GB free.
3. I'm glad you've been enjoying it! :)
My advice is you know what you bought, how to use it, what you need to achieve your goal with it (like mod, or smth), I still thinking to bought one too and still exploring it modding ecosystem.

Gonna be honest, Ami has turned into a surprise favourite - along with Kana and the Pool Twins - which I wasn't really expecting. But I like her too, so you can expect more events, h-scenes and, yes, a pregnancy event for her :)
I love Kana, but I also really want to see what's going on with her mom's side of things.
the 3 main college daughters (grouping the twins as 1 since they are together) is definitely something I'm curious about. Along with most of the college folks in general.

Unfortunately, no - the save locations are baked into the game engine and there's no way to mess around with it without badly breaking things (people have tried, since Android started locking down the data folder, but success has been extremely limited).
Updated to 0.17.5 from 0.17.0 and now all of my unlocked extras have been re-locked, which is driving the completionist in me crazy. I love the game but recently did another full play-through so I'm not super keen to do it all again, is there a quicker way for me to just power-unlock them again or something?
Sounds like you moved your save files but didn't bring your "persistent" file along with them?
Have no fear, though! Just go to your laptop in your manor bedroom (Act Two and Three) and in the cheat menu there you will find the "Gallery Unlocker". It will unlock the entire Gallery for you :)
Ah I think you might be kinda right on that one, I did a cleanup of my entire AppData folder not long before I did the update, I must've deleted persistent then by accident. Cheers for that chief

That's Pixie's Hallowe'en costume :) Make sure you have all the Hallowe'en decorations active in your room (Jack o' Lantern, Coffin Bed and Witch Poster) and then sleep. It might take a couple of nights.
