I haven't been able to progress in magic because when I go south to look for the witch hat I can't find it, I try to use the drift power but the main character says it didn't work and now he has a headache and leaves the forest.
I don't know what to do to complete that section, please help me.
If you're getting the "... well, that didn't work. Not really sure why I thought it would, honestly." message then you're not using Drift. That message pops up only when you try to use a power that isn't Drift.
You also don't technically have to use Drift, either. If you select "Don't use a Power" then you have a 50% chance to find the hat on your own.
Oh, so it's possible that my game is corrupted? Since I'm certainly sure I used Drift.
I wouldn't be surprised if my game is broken, since I started it with a Spanish patch that used to generate a lot of errors, then I changed to another Spanish patch that worked correctly.
I will try not to use a power and wait for it to appear. I don't want to start another new game.
If you're using a translation patch then yes, that would certainly explain the errors - I love that people are out there making fan-translations, but unfortunately I can't quality control any of them because they're not official.
If you get in touch with the person making the patch they should be able to fix the issue that's blocking you :)

Yes, when the game is finished it will be 100% free for everyone to play. There will also be a special "open source" version that will be completely unencrypted and will allow people to use the assets and code and characters for whatever they want! The open source version will cost somewhere between $5 and $15.
personally i am not expecting a finished game within the next 5 years, simply cause i know coding can be really hard, and getting things to match up can be a headache (not a coder myself, just know a bunch of people that do)

The screen is 1280x720p but it's not fullscreen by default, so if you've clicked and dragged the corners/sides of the window to make it bigger or smaller then that's permanently recorded - at least in in Windows. I don't know about other OS's.
From what another dev said, itch is having issues with downloads as of late. Not sure why, most devs are aware of the problem with itch and are offering workarounds. I'm GUESSING there was some stuff done behind the scenes that caused it. Aren't "updates that seem to screw everything up for awhile" grand? :P (no)

First thing is that the download link doesn't point to a folder, so if you're downloading it from anywhere other than Itch, Patreon or Subscribestar then it's not an official/legal download and I can't help because I don't know what they did.
If you're getting it from here, and you mean that the zip file is empty, then it's because your download was corrupted. This is almost always due to downloading on an unstable WiFi connection, and the only way to "fix" it is to download using an ethernet connection or - if possible - a different ISP altogether.
There's also a possibility that the Itch servers were down momentarily, in which case they're up and running again and you should have no problems (I just downloaded the Win/Linux version on three different machines myself and all three worked as expected).
I've recently made it to Act III, and now I wonder should I park on my save & wait for the dungeon content in a future build, or is the recruit system a permanent replacement to whatever had been planned for dungeon?
Also, if someone's a really serious Q&A mood :) Is there a substantial variation in Act III based on the player's Act II choices? The "I am what you made me" scene at the end of Act II sort of implies there is indeed a difference, but maybe not a "start over if you don't like what happens" level of difference?

Each update is the entire game (because Ren'py has no real update mechanic built in). If you're on Windows, Linux or Mac just extract to a new folder and play. If you're on Android, install the new version on top of the old one (say yes when it asks if you want to update).
In all cases, your saves will be automatically detected by the new version :)

The goal is to get all main girls (girls with a card in the heart thingie) and most side girls (girls that had more than one sex scene) preggers at some point later in the game.
Of course, there are some exceptions due to lore.
And if we’re being realistic, Arc may have to trim down the final list.
But main girls are pretty much guaranteed.
With the exception of Roxy and Qarinah, for lore reasons.

Claire, Ami, Hana, Laura, Renee, Julie, Lucille and Molly are others that I can name off the top of my head that were on the really high priority list.

While Roxy simply doesn’t reproduce sexually (she presummably shapeshifted her lady bits to “play” with humans.
Qarinah having a physical form is debatable. We’ve never met her physically, and she exists in the world of dreams, that’s her “real form”.
But if you remember how her story went during act 2, I seriously doubt she’d be up for trying to make another dream succubus… Even if such a thing was possible to begin with.
we do have the pregnant model of Quarinah when she tells she can change to fit, so it might be possible in the future for you to 'role-play' her being pregnant and the like, i'd guess at least

The pregnancy system is completely optional, and a lot of people turn it off. So I can't spend too long working on pregnancy/kid content as that's all "non content" for those people :P
"Talk to Ami" in the East Hallway during Act 3 results in a static picture of Ami staying on screen til you leave her options, and another that jumps in when she talks.
the top with the date, inventory, and such dissapear and do not come back before you move to another area, looking around or going to the Human Floor does not change this, only going to another area, like Your Bedroom or the West Hallway
The top bar vanishing and staying vanished I couldn't replicate, but there was a line in the code that could have caused it to happen for some people, so I've removed that and it should be fixed now.
There will be a "traceback.txt" file in your game folder - just attach it to your post :)
If you're on Android and can't get into your data folder then scroll down to the bottom of the traceback and screenshot it, then attach the screenshot to your post.
GamCore is not an official download site. Sounds like you got a corrupted and possibly virus-infected copy. Only download from Itch, Patreon and Subscribestar.

In act 3 when you talk to the Minions in the Forest, going back with the "Goodbye" option to the screen where you can choose to talk with either Maven or the Minions, it will be Maven that says goodbye instead of the Minions
It is the same if you go to mate with them, it will be Maven talking
Morgana will be making appearances now that the Outskirts have opened up, but she's one of the three main Faction leaders so in terms of getting to the naughty stuff that's not going to happen for a while. Sorry!
First, buy the club. Then interact with Lilly & ask her about the club & dating.
Then while there, call a dateable girl (Gwen Madison Veronica Jessica are "dateable". ). They will mention what alchohol they want to drink. Talk to Lilly & buy that in the main bar, then call again confirm the date.
They will ask three questions about how much you've paid attention to their life & backstory. If you answer all questions correctly you get optional h-scene, & progress Trickster storyline.
Hint: Gwen is the cheapest & easiest girl to fully date, if you're struggling with the others
If you do the first quest for Dates and get them all 'right'
then you can just talk with the Trickster again to continue on
And correction to the answering correctly part of your comment, if they don't have enough love for you (not enough hearts), then they will turn you down when you try to push for more
i have a 'complaint'(really just a request), can you please let us kiss the characters while they are pregnant? like i got Annie knocked up, and when i choose the "Let's be naughty" option it goes straight to sex, instead of letting me kiss her it goes straight to sex. (In general, let me kiss all the girls, both when they are pregnant and when they are not)
Sidenote: please let us have some more text with the pregnant version of our girls, like feeling the baby kicking in the belly
I actually did start creating "kissing" renders for all the girls, but I just wasn't happy with them... largely because there's no good "puckered lips" assets, and the whole thing was just a still image closeup of each girl's face :P
I'll probably just do it, though, and see how people react, then polish it all up when the game hits beta.

When i started the game and saw the option, i thought it was like the pregnancy fetish would be all there was to it, so i had it turned off there, after finding out it was not i went on a spree to make up for lost time, though i refused to use the potions
I'd wager at least some that turn it off thought like me, and then never remembered/revisited that menu

BTW. i noticed i got a lot more of one gender than the other, is it a chance thing for the gender, or are there only that one gender for that one woman?

Adding variants would just add extra complexity to the system, more breaking points and Arc would also have to make render variants for permutations of the scenes the kids appear in.

I just loved the act 2 but act 3 seems a little... lazy to be honest. Act 1 and 2 were full of story and excitement but act 3 just seems lazy. Also I wish there was something to guide me through the game. Character cards are not enough. I completed them all and i saw that there was still a ton of thing to do. Thankfully I thought of that and saved the game before jumping into the act 3.
Act 3 is a bit weird, the whole war thing was inevitable, and things haven’t ramped up properly.
And no, game won’t hold your hand more than necessary.
It ends up being quite boring from a developer’s view to have to herd the players to go into the right place, rather let them explore and reward them for faffing about.
Or if exploration is not your thing, ask.

Me: Working as a solo dev, releasing updates every two weeks that are as packed with content as I can possibly make them, remaking every scene location, every character outfit, introducing a brand new mechanic with thousands of lines of code, working with gritted teeth through my nerve damage and ensuring that every update brings back old characters or advances the plot = lazy
You: Wants to have your hand held through the entire game so that you don't have to actually explore and discover anything for yourself = not lazy
Ah, I thought it was a mistake, could you explain to me how it works now? since before there were many districts and you could investigate or do things with them.
It works on Android 12 but not on all configurations of OS and hardware (it especially struggles when new OS's are paired with older hardware). This is unfortunately an issue with Ren'py, the SDK, and not something I can personally affect in any way. Fingers crossed that future updates to Ren'py can help make it more stable across all mobile permutations!
I spent couple days playing it and besides the nice spicy scenes. I sadly reached the end of content. The story was actually pretty good. Though if you have bad time remembering like me it takes longer. But it's a amazing concept and not gonna lie Asteria is probably the best waifu so far. Also remember it's one amazing dev working on this game and it doesn't crash which is amazing also key: "Think About Arc" for a funny Easter egg.
May I ask, do all the children have special interaction scenes? I've found several but I'm missing a few and kinda wonder if I'm looking for something that just isn't there.

You have to get them in Act Two. Convince them to sell their houses, get their second scene (Laura's happens automatically, Lucille is in the park on certain nights and Renee will call you on the living room housephone at certain times).
After that, you'll be able to talk to Jessica in the kitchen and get them to invite each of the ladies to come stay at the Manor :)
Hi, just a general question. Are there gona be more (ideally all) side girls in the main menu "H scene galery"? Cause right now there is about half of them.
It'll happen eventually, but I'm a solo dev so I have to manage my time. A week spent converting all the scenes for the Gallery would be a week without any content being built :P
Well, all I really can think of it, I, fucking love it, the story, the characters, came for the horny, but I am for sure sticking around for that story

I can't speak for other developers, but here's what I use:
1. 3D Models and scenes: A heavily-modded Koikatsu Party (available on Steam - make sure you check the Guides for how to install CharaStudio)
2. Coding: Ren'py (Visual Studio Code IDE)
3. Graphical editing/UI design: Affinity Photo
4. Video editing: Da Vinci Resolve
5. Music/Sound editing and creation: Audacity

One or two years, and that’s lowballing it.

Arc doesn’t intend to work on the game for a decade.
You can work on the same thing for so long before you get bored of it.
That’s why the game after CK won’t be the actual CK sequel, but something different.
But yeah, projects like these, it’s hard to do estimations of time.
And it’s really easy for things to snowball out of control.

Well, yes. The pregnancy content is locked behind meeting a certain character.
Whenever you get invited to the nexus, you need to say hi to everyone for the character to take an interest in you.
If you haven’t been invited to the nexus, progress with Pixie a little bit.
Are there mods for this game?
No, not really.
This game is a visual novel with pre-rendered assets.
Not particularly easy to mod, or worth anyone’s time.
But if something appears, it has more chances of appearing in the discord server.
Does this update make the screen smaller?

No, you can’t invite anyone, at least for the time being.
One does wonder if it’ll happen during act 3… Sawano did mention healing properties…
But it could also just be side content that will be added in act 2 once the game enters the beta phase.

The dungeon got put back in the shelf. It’s just been hard to justify its existence in the game.
And the new recruiting system is almost certainly permanent. Doubt Arc’ll remake things again.
Most choices don’t have that big of an effect… If they have any…
That dialogue is the same regardless. But for a reason you might not be considering, probably because we don’t have enough information yet.
There will be different endings, but Arc has always said something along the lines of “You’ll get the ending you’re aiming for”.
So don’t sweat it, play how you want to play.

Also I think it’s canon that the protagonist has a preggo kink.
But as for her actually getting pregnant and having a kid that can go to the daycare, that will most likely be a no.

The Ami bug has now been fixed, thanks! :)

Trying to open the Main Menu gives an 'exception' (aka. can't do it) if i ignore or roll back it just puts me back in the game where i were before.

GamCore is not an official download site. Sounds like you got a corrupted and possibly virus-infected copy. Only download from Itch, Patreon and Subscribestar.

In act 3 when you talk to the Minions in the Forest, going back with the "Goodbye" option to the screen where you can choose to talk with either Maven or the Minions, it will be Maven that says goodbye instead of the Minions
It is the same if you go to mate with them, it will be Maven talking

Someone Please help i don't understand date in the club
First, buy the club. Then interact with Lilly & ask her about the club & dating.
Then while there, call a dateable girl (Gwen Madison Veronica Jessica are "dateable". ). They will mention what alchohol they want to drink. Talk to Lilly & buy that in the main bar, then call again confirm the date.
They will ask three questions about how much you've paid attention to their life & backstory. If you answer all questions correctly you get optional h-scene, & progress Trickster storyline.
Hint: Gwen is the cheapest & easiest girl to fully date, if you're struggling with the others

And even if you fuckup the questions she’ll still enjoy spending time with you like you aced the questions.

then you can just talk with the Trickster again to continue on
And correction to the answering correctly part of your comment, if they don't have enough love for you (not enough hearts), then they will turn you down when you try to push for more

i have a 'complaint'(really just a request), can you please let us kiss the characters while they are pregnant? like i got Annie knocked up, and when i choose the "Let's be naughty" option it goes straight to sex, instead of letting me kiss her it goes straight to sex.
(In general, let me kiss all the girls, both when they are pregnant and when they are not)
Sidenote: please let us have some more text with the pregnant version of our girls, like feeling the baby kicking in the belly

I actually did start creating "kissing" renders for all the girls, but I just wasn't happy with them... largely because there's no good "puckered lips" assets, and the whole thing was just a still image closeup of each girl's face :P
I'll probably just do it, though, and see how people react, then polish it all up when the game hits beta.
The pregnancy content is entirely optional, and a lot of people turn it off, so any time spent working on pregnancy is the same as no time at all spent working on the game for those people. Which means I have to be very careful how much time I invest in it.
Honestly, if it was up to me, the game would just be wholesome events like picnics with everyone and hanging out with the kids. But oh well! ;)

When i started the game and saw the option, i thought it was like the pregnancy fetish would be all there was to it, so i had it turned off there, after finding out it was not i went on a spree to make up for lost time, though i refused to use the potions
I'd wager at least some that turn it off thought like me, and then never remembered/revisited that menu

The genders are fixed.
Adding variants would just add extra complexity to the system, more breaking points and Arc would also have to make render variants for permutations of the scenes the kids appear in.

I just loved the act 2 but act 3 seems a little... lazy to be honest. Act 1 and 2 were full of story and excitement but act 3 just seems lazy. Also I wish there was something to guide me through the game. Character cards are not enough. I completed them all and i saw that there was still a ton of thing to do. Thankfully I thought of that and saved the game before jumping into the act 3.
Act 3 is a bit weird, the whole war thing was inevitable, and things haven’t ramped up properly.
And no, game won’t hold your hand more than necessary.
It ends up being quite boring from a developer’s view to have to herd the players to go into the right place, rather let them explore and reward them for faffing about.
Or if exploration is not your thing, ask. That encourages interaction with the community.
This, just like Gramps keeps not answering questions, don't make the game answer everything.
Also, i feel like Exploration was quickly over and done, so i hope we can get some more areas under the Exploration tabs in the different areas.

You: Wants to have your hand held through the entire game so that you don't have to actually explore and discover anything for yourself = not lazy

Not an error, that’s the war map.
Old system got scrapped, now the districts are locations in the map.
There’s a new icon in the top right of the map, shows you more war related info.
There wasn’t much content on the old districts. That was part of the reason they got removed and some girls got relocated.
But basically, after Jessica gives you the talk about war, you go to the locations and there’s an option to mount an attack.

She appears if you train with Asteria. Forgot the name of the exercise but I think it was the middle one.

APK not working on Android 12
It works on Android 12 but not on all configurations of OS and hardware (it especially struggles when new OS's are paired with older hardware). This is unfortunately an issue with Ren'py, the SDK, and not something I can personally affect in any way. Fingers crossed that future updates to Ren'py can help make it more stable across all mobile permutations!

I spent couple days playing it and besides the nice spicy scenes. I sadly reached the end of content. The story was actually pretty good. Though if you have bad time remembering like me it takes longer. But it's a amazing concept and not gonna lie Asteria is probably the best waifu so far. Also remember it's one amazing dev working on this game and it doesn't crash which is amazing also key: "Think About Arc" for a funny Easter egg.

Same with the way of getting the girls, in favour of them getting different scenes.
How do I spend time with Madison and our kid?
It can only be done in Act Two currently; you have to invite Madison on a beach date (go to the beach and call her up) :)

How to get the house ladies?
You have to get them in Act Two. Convince them to sell their houses, get their second scene (Laura's happens automatically, Lucille is in the park on certain nights and Renee will call you on the living room housephone at certain times).
After that, you'll be able to talk to Jessica in the kitchen and get them to invite each of the ladies to come stay at the Manor :)

Get access to the Outskirts by conquering the Old Club, then visit Annie, then visit the Forest :)
Hi, just a general question. Are there gona be more (ideally all) side girls in the main menu "H scene galery"? Cause right now there is about half of them.
The gallery was meant for not repeatable scenes.
But since act 3, all act 2 scenes are technically not repeatable.
It just isn’t a priority to add all scenes to the gallery, so people are adviced to keep a save at the end of act 2.
Thank you for the answer, just thought, it might be nice to have them all there.
It'll happen eventually, but I'm a solo dev so I have to manage my time. A week spent converting all the scenes for the Gallery would be a week without any content being built :P
