Yeah living room is bugged out when its empty. There is a workaround but its bard to do and will take time as you need to do other events in a specific order and hope that the living room is occupied when it sends you there after those events so it doesn't bug out
Its a bug with the empty living room. There is a way around it however its difficult and requires precise timing to do. Essentially, you can access tbe living room so long as someone is in it without being kicked. On both here ad the discord a user named MakaelK has done a guide on how to pass the major living room events.

So for anyone dealing with the living room glitch, I found something of a workaround. So it seems when someone is in the living room, like Jess doing yoga or Ami cleaning, it won't pop you out. This is usually in the afternoon and some mornings(still don't know the exact schedules of all the characters).It's the default, empty living room that's glitching.
EDIT: I'm using the Android version, so I haven't tested this workaround for Mac or PC and can't guarantee it will work there. Though you're free to try it.
That said, accessing the garden is still normally impossible except under special circumstances, and that's where the work around comes in. Very minor spoilers ahead.
To get access to the *note from gramps* in the garden, which is automatically triggered at the start of act 2, you'll need to advance the story along enough until you're told members of the Fey council want to meet you. This scene jumped you directly into the garden where you'll meet a couple council members. At the end of the scene you'll be left in the garden with the *note from gramps*, allowing you to continue progress. If you time when you trigger the council meeting correctly there should be someone in the living room allowing you to pass through it without the game crashing.
Later when you can visit the various demense of council members through the Nexus you'll meet Roxie. Progressing her story will result in you having to return to the garden again to get a flower. Next you'll want to advance the Organization storyline enough and it will eventually have you needing to talk to Chloe. When you knock on her door Pixie will tell you she's in the garden and again you'll be jumped directly there. At the end of the scene you'll be back in the garden and can pick up the flower to continue the story for Roxie. You MUST trigger the event for getting the flower BEFORE progressing the Organization storyline. Otherwise the option to collect the flower won't appear. Again, if you time when you trigger the scene with Chloe in the garden correctly there should be someone in the living room allowing you to pass through without crashing.
Same idea with the first bath with Pixie, though you won't be able to return to the bathroom again afterwards.
Phone calls from Emma in the living room work on the same premise. Time your trips into the living room with when someone is in there and you should receive the calls fine. Keeping multiple saves is highly recommended in order to avoid getting stuck in the garden and unable to leave without crashing.
Unfortunately, can't find any way around the bug in Asteria's quest line to get the tournament going as that's a bug with the UI. So unfortunately unless someone else finds a workaround we're stuck waiting until it gets patched. Hope this helps people at least with progressing al little further until then.
If you have tested this fully(im doing so myself right now) it would be helpful to others for sure if you could detail your process in the discord as several people there are also stressing out about the living room bug and would like any way possible to get around it
I did it on a couple saves and it worked. As far as the discord, I'm not in it right now, so can't really add it there. Also, I am on android. So I can't be sure this will work on mack or pc.

my asteria questline is bugged ig? The new update messed up the on-screen text really badly. It says to wait a few days and check with her and there is no visible option. The "How are you?" option is nearly cut-off at the top of the screen and most of the text is like this now. For context this is the part where she has a tournament with mistis for the second time, and I am actively unable to progress it.
to add to this the "steal a clock" option is also cut off way above the top of my screen so i effectively can't progress at all now. I preferred the old text UI..
I was just thinking about this, but you might be able to go into College on a weekend day so long as you have progressed any of the fey girls enough to where they will go to the college so you can teach a class and be able to go into the school on the weekends when it's normally closed. You also have to progress the College questline enough to become a teacher but that shouldn't be too much of an issue.
The girls who will go to the college on weekends if you're a teacher and decide to teach are Emma, Pixie, Kana, and Lyx as far as I'm aware.
i ended up doing this on a whim and yes it did work however i went to act 3 without finishing asteria which is regretible but there's nothing i could do about it since the option was far above the screen
On top of the living room glitch there's also an issue with the UI. During black screen narration the hide/skip/menu buttons move to the center of the screen blocking a good portion of the narration text.
Also, the location menu buttons, such as in the west hall, are extending off screen. I can't quite be sure, but it seems this is halting progress on at least one quest, starting Asteria's tournament, because there's so many options that the required button is completely off screen. I've followed the "hint" instructions and there should be an option to ask Asteria about the tournament, but given that the options are already so many that one of them is halfway off screen I'm assuming the required option is completely offscreen, making it impossible too finish that quest.
Not sure becaus ei didnt get that far but i think if you choose the dialogue option "so about Mistis" and it disappears afterwards you may be able to complete that quest, had a similar problem with one time dialogue options, and worked 2 of them off, alowing me to continue
I get what you mean, as I've had to do that in other instances too progress due to the same issue. Unfortunately in this case, none of the options are disappearing after selecting them, including with Mistus. Which has effectively broken this quest.
Save is probably not doomed so long as you technically havw a save point before trying to enter the living room in the manor. It's what is causing the crashes. It's not just you, several others are facing similar problems, we just need to get Arc's attention to it and the problem will be sorted out hopefully by next update at the end of this month
If your in the bathroom, and cant get out your stuck in there cause its trying to send you to the living room but the living room got bugged with the 0.22.0 update
Idk what happend but the options and text are all over thw screen especially when the auto/skip/hide options are on a black screen that overlap some of the orange text alsp once u get to the mansion and hit living room u get sent back to the flat so its not possible to talk to gramps in the backyard hope it gets fixed soon

also i installed the game another time and imported the saves, but it still would crash at the living room so i think its something on the save files
Funny enough, the living room IS where you find both the garden and the bathroom. Both are completely inaccessible as of right now, and i believe its due to what Arc did to the Bathroom and Garden as it was made so that they are sub rooms of the Living Room
the new UI is kind of bright and the low contrast text makes it hard to read. Also it seems to now cause menus to extend off the screen in some rooms. I think it was the west hall. Any chance we could get the option of an inverted color scheme?
Not asking for the old UI back or anything, but the black UI was a lot easier on my eyes. Also it would be nice to have the dossier and quest list be dedicated buttons always on the screen again so I don't have to click through multiple menus to open them up. I was constantly flipping back and forth through them before, so its going to make the QOL go way down this way. A keyboard hotkey might also suffice, though having it on the header would still be ideal.
Another usability issue is.. I can't tell which save is my newest one anymore. Used to be whichever one had a different color text, but they all look the same now and needing to compare time and date stamps on like 8 pages of saves is going to be a nightmare.
I can't enter the living room without getting booted to the main menu every time. It used to push me back to the flat from Act 1, but now i just get forced to the menu. Which is completely stopping me from progressing in the game at all. I was enjoying it, but this bug has made the game effectively unplayable.
Does anyone know of a way to correct this or do we just have to wait for the next patch?
I doubt given how monumental the manor living room is to progress that we will have to wait till next patch, but its sketchy atm. I can confirm many others are having this problem and its across both PC and Android. However as of right now, Arcadean hasnt responded at all to my knowledge about this bug or why it happened. So we will play the waiting game for now
Edit: apple phones probably have the glitch too however I don't own an Apple device so im not sure if the bug is present there
Yeah, i kind of found an extremely lucky work around, though it's not really something that can be replicated. Namely i couldn't get the note from gramps because of the living room bug, but the scene where you met a couple council members in the garden bypasses the living room automatically and drops you in the garden. And luckily pulling back into the living room popped me into the main bedroom rather than forcing me to the main menu. So I was able to progress significantly, but I'm now in a situation where I once again have to get into the garden, which had stopped my progress for a particular quest again.
I just started ACT 2, and after doing the phone call with Emma to continue her storyline in the game when entering the Living Room in the Manor, the game will not allow me to stay in the Living Room. It automatically shoves me out of the Living Room and forces me back to my old Flat from ACT 1. I then leave the flat back to the map and go back to the Manor to reenter the Living Room, but every time I try, the game automatically sends me back to my old Flat.
I therefore have no way to enter the Garden to speak to Gramps. Please help!
Its not just Act 2, its happened to me evertime ive tried to enter the living room, in any of my saves regardless of progress. Even on the PC version since i played on Mobile

Edit: if anyone has a solution I need it cause I've restarted the game because I realized I messed up my current save and I cannot progress the story currently without going to the living room but it won't let me go there!
If your talking about the save part in the game, load the file and save again. The UI will fix the image being so large and the month,day, year, and time will all be visable
So im confused. Its been a while since I've played and the heart to see the relationships hasn't appeared. I've currently reached Act 2 and woke up. Does it show up after I talk to someone in act 2?
Been following this game for about 2 years now, and I think it's finally time I comment something. This game blew me away with it's story and the ammount of content it had. Chapter 3 had just been released when I reached that point in the game, and still loved it and the combat mechanics. I stopped usung that save a long time ago though, and did a second playthrough to relive everything else, and save some key moment's I loved. Sometimes I've even considered a third playthrough. However, the now 33 days in silence has got me kinda concerned... I love this game and want to see it to it's conclusion. So please Arcadean, don't give up! There's tones of us that would like nothing more than to see it finish, and will help however we can or need to see it through! Just say the word, we'll be there!
Did you check the post for the last update? Arc explained there that there was complications and that the bi-monthly schedule had to change for the time being., which is why its been radio silence here for the last month.

Revert to v0.21.8 if you can (but you'll need a .8 save to do that -- if all your saves are .9, you're stuck). Hopefully, the update coming in the next few days will fix combat.
Well, if you have a save that says "Corrupted Kingdoms v0.21.8" (or anything less than 21.8, really) underneath it, you can click the SubscribeStar link at the top of this page and scroll down to "PUBLIC RELEASE - v0.21.8 - LET'S ROCK!" to find the download link.
However, if your saves all say "Corrupted Kingdoms v0.21.9" underneath, you'll need to wait for v0.22.0 to go public, and hope it fixed combat. It should be going public soon -- it's already out for subscribers. Alternatively, you can do as above and speed through the game again from the start in v0.21.8.
This game is a pleasant surprise, it starts off pretty generic, but before you know it you start to care less about the H-scenes in favor of getting on with the story, investigating the entire map looking for every last detail you might miss, I love it, but it's a shame that Suscribestar doesn't let me subscribe, and that patreon got snubbed because of alice and the kids, so if you can find another way to support you, I'll gladly do so, your work is worth it.
Absolutely, and not even necessarily for the h-scenes (which can largely be avoided or skipped if that's not your thing). The story is great. HOWEVER, there is a game-breaking bug in Act 3 at the moment, so you may want to keep an eye out for the update that's coming this week, or seek out the last working update (v0.21.8) on their SubscribeStar (dw, it's free).
Even if its not all good, its worth a play. The game itself has ups and downs, but overall it has a fantastic story. Alsoz even though the content has slowed down a bit due to the creator switching from weekly to bi-weekly updates or sometimes monthly updates, the content has felt more alive and much deeper than before.
Overall, CK is one of the best H-games to play on itch and some points in the game have made me forget im even playing an H-game
It has been a lot of fun but be warned, Chapter 3 can really hurt. Be prepared to cry. Though I suppose that certain things have recently been implemented so you can actually resolve at least one of these painful things pretty quickly.
As of version 0.21.9, the creator had to take a break due to personal issues. The creator was hoping that everything could be sorted and the next update would take around a month to get out on Itch. If everything has gone to Arcadean's plan, should be very soon. If not, hard to really say unless a post is made or Arc responds to ya.
Idk if im just missing something but im kinda stuck, i can't find claire to talk to to for the acid, emma is still in her room but also in the garden at the same time during the evening and i cant seem to help her with her power at all. I feel like im soft locked or something. Is there only certain times or places you can see claire?? Also is the map supposed to ve half locked? Any help would be appreciated.
Personally idk about the other issues but the map one is because of the wandering merchant event, once you find him other parts of the map is closed for some reason.

I was on a break from 21.3 when I started playing again I realised I cant fight anymore. Anytime A fight begins last thing that comes up is the text about thr elixir and then it goes into "an exception has occured" is it a problem with my save file or a solvable bug?

you could check the autosaves. See if you happen to have one right before you went to aft 3 by some odd miracle. But that's rough man

Another usability issue is.. I can't tell which save is my newest one anymore. Used to be whichever one had a different color text, but they all look the same now and needing to compare time and date stamps on like 8 pages of saves is going to be a nightmare.
I can't enter the living room without getting booted to the main menu every time. It used to push me back to the flat from Act 1, but now i just get forced to the menu. Which is completely stopping me from progressing in the game at all. I was enjoying it, but this bug has made the game effectively unplayable.
Does anyone know of a way to correct this or do we just have to wait for the next patch?
I doubt given how monumental the manor living room is to progress that we will have to wait till next patch, but its sketchy atm. I can confirm many others are having this problem and its across both PC and Android. However as of right now, Arcadean hasnt responded at all to my knowledge about this bug or why it happened. So we will play the waiting game for now
Edit: apple phones probably have the glitch too however I don't own an Apple device so im not sure if the bug is present there
Yeah, i kind of found an extremely lucky work around, though it's not really something that can be replicated. Namely i couldn't get the note from gramps because of the living room bug, but the scene where you met a couple council members in the garden bypasses the living room automatically and drops you in the garden. And luckily pulling back into the living room popped me into the main bedroom rather than forcing me to the main menu. So I was able to progress significantly, but I'm now in a situation where I once again have to get into the garden, which had stopped my progress for a particular quest again.
I've discovered a bug in the game.
I just started ACT 2, and after doing the phone call with Emma to continue her storyline in the game when entering the Living Room in the Manor, the game will not allow me to stay in the Living Room. It automatically shoves me out of the Living Room and forces me back to my old Flat from ACT 1. I then leave the flat back to the map and go back to the Manor to reenter the Living Room, but every time I try, the game automatically sends me back to my old Flat.
I therefore have no way to enter the Garden to speak to Gramps. Please help!
Its not just Act 2, its happened to me evertime ive tried to enter the living room, in any of my saves regardless of progress. Even on the PC version since i played on Mobile

Has anyone else ran into a bug in the latest update where going to the living room in the manor can cause you to go to a different location or straight up send you to the title screen?
Edit: if anyone has a solution I need it cause I've restarted the game because I realized I messed up my current save and I cannot progress the story currently without going to the living room but it won't let me go there!
Apparently its a v0.22.00 bug, on most if not all platforms, i think we just need to hope for a patch, i have a similar problem though

If your talking about the save part in the game, load the file and save again. The UI will fix the image being so large and the month,day, year, and time will all be visable

Been following this game for about 2 years now, and I think it's finally time I comment something. This game blew me away with it's story and the ammount of content it had. Chapter 3 had just been released when I reached that point in the game, and still loved it and the combat mechanics. I stopped usung that save a long time ago though, and did a second playthrough to relive everything else, and save some key moment's I loved. Sometimes I've even considered a third playthrough. However, the now 33 days in silence has got me kinda concerned... I love this game and want to see it to it's conclusion. So please Arcadean, don't give up! There's tones of us that would like nothing more than to see it finish, and will help however we can or need to see it through! Just say the word, we'll be there!
Did you check the post for the last update? Arc explained there that there was complications and that the bi-monthly schedule had to change for the time being., which is why its been radio silence here for the last month.

in the arc 3 after chastity broke in and when ı need to fight, game errors and say an exception has occourred (sorry for bad egnlish) (ı tried a few more times and whenever ı fight with someone this hapens)
Revert to v0.21.8 if you can (but you'll need a .8 save to do that -- if all your saves are .9, you're stuck). Hopefully, the update coming in the next few days will fix combat.

Well, if you have a save that says "Corrupted Kingdoms v0.21.8" (or anything less than 21.8, really) underneath it, you can click the SubscribeStar link at the top of this page and scroll down to "PUBLIC RELEASE - v0.21.8 - LET'S ROCK!" to find the download link.
However, if your saves all say "Corrupted Kingdoms v0.21.9" underneath, you'll need to wait for v0.22.0 to go public, and hope it fixed combat. It should be going public soon -- it's already out for subscribers. Alternatively, you can do as above and speed through the game again from the start in v0.21.8.

This game is a pleasant surprise, it starts off pretty generic, but before you know it you start to care less about the H-scenes in favor of getting on with the story, investigating the entire map looking for every last detail you might miss, I love it, but it's a shame that Suscribestar doesn't let me subscribe, and that patreon got snubbed because of alice and the kids, so if you can find another way to support you, I'll gladly do so, your work is worth it.

is it a porn game, yes. but after the first act the story is phenomenal. it keeps me playing and wanting the next update
Absolutely, and not even necessarily for the h-scenes (which can largely be avoided or skipped if that's not your thing). The story is great. HOWEVER, there is a game-breaking bug in Act 3 at the moment, so you may want to keep an eye out for the update that's coming this week, or seek out the last working update (v0.21.8) on their SubscribeStar (dw, it's free).
Even if its not all good, its worth a play. The game itself has ups and downs, but overall it has a fantastic story. Alsoz even though the content has slowed down a bit due to the creator switching from weekly to bi-weekly updates or sometimes monthly updates, the content has felt more alive and much deeper than before.
Overall, CK is one of the best H-games to play on itch and some points in the game have made me forget im even playing an H-game
It has been a lot of fun but be warned, Chapter 3 can really hurt. Be prepared to cry. Though I suppose that certain things have recently been implemented so you can actually resolve at least one of these painful things pretty quickly.

As of version 0.21.9, the creator had to take a break due to personal issues. The creator was hoping that everything could be sorted and the next update would take around a month to get out on Itch. If everything has gone to Arcadean's plan, should be very soon. If not, hard to really say unless a post is made or Arc responds to ya.

Idk if im just missing something but im kinda stuck, i can't find claire to talk to to for the acid, emma is still in her room but also in the garden at the same time during the evening and i cant seem to help her with her power at all. I feel like im soft locked or something. Is there only certain times or places you can see claire?? Also is the map supposed to ve half locked? Any help would be appreciated.
Personally idk about the other issues but the map one is because of the wandering merchant event, once you find him other parts of the map is closed for some reason.

I am having the same issue. No idea what to do next.
I was on a break from 21.3 when I started playing again I realised I cant fight anymore. Anytime A fight begins last thing that comes up is the text about thr elixir and then it goes into "an exception has occured" is it a problem with my save file or a solvable bug?
