This month it's a slightly shorter update, as I've been teaching myself how to use the "3D Staging" system, which was introduced to Ren'py fairly recently. Lots of fun new camera tricks incoming! In the meantime, here's a story event (that will tie in with an upcoming mechanics polish), a few QoL additions, and a host of bugfixes! I hope you enjoy! :)
NOTE: I'll be taking a week off to celebrate Christmas and New Years with family, but I'll try to drop a little something fun right before the holidays if I can, as a thank you to everyone who's been so supportive during these trying times!
CHANGELOG:
- NEW AREA: After doing the NIGHT Bridge event (the one that unlocks the Shopkeep). go to the Bridge during the DAY and select "Explore the River" to unlock a new STORY area! Not much to do here right now, but it will come into play later on!
- CODE: I'm experimenting with the "3D Stage" feature of Ren'py, for use in future systems. Mostly backend work for now, but if you want to see a basic example of it in action, head to the Park in Act 3 and click "Look Around"!
- LILY: In Act One and Two you can now work at Lily's bar in the evening!
- NPC: New NPC Character Models added! These will begin to pop up more and more over time
- Misc: Added an option to the NIGHT Bridge story event to allow people to be more of a dick if they want
- Misc: Added an outline to "thinking" text so that it's still readable even if you lower the textbox opacity to 0%
- Misc: Club Date girl selection has been updated to new "card selection" system!
- Misc: Converted all the character models from .png to .webp, as part of my constant campaign to keep this game below 2GB. This reduces the character models' filesize by around 80!%
- Bug: Even more menu overflow errors removed!
- Bug: Fixed a crash during Pixie's 'personal time' with your laptop in Act One. The screen has been waterproofed
- Bug: Fixed an error during the Chastity event in Act Three. Lucille was just too angry!
- Bug: Fixed a weird issue with the textbox showing up behind centered text
- Bug: Alice and Chloe will now appear properly in the War Room!
- Bug: Time will no longer crawl along while waiting for night to fall during Sawano's missions in Act Two
- Bug: You can no longer work in Lily's bar if it's after midnight. What, you expect her to pay overtime?
- Bug: Pixie no longer obscures text during the Act Two to Three transition
- Bug: Older saves will no longer have oversized screenshots attached (thanks, MyeLittleEye!)
- Bug: Typos and grammatical errors fixed

game is neat
been pretty much playing this non stop for the past 5 or so days and absolutely love only problem I ran into so far is in between act one and two a error message popped up but has yet to pop up again and a question about the dungeon I have is can only Jessica and Gwen go there in act 2 and how do I raise the submissiveness more than the spanking that to my current knowledge only does it once?

Considering early access is on 8th of January, I would assume public release is on the 15th. As said tho, it's an assumption so don't take it for granted
I'm in the middle of act two, and I can't figure out how to get Emma to move in. (I got the upgrade AFTER maxing her out.)
Try to find her in the park every afternoon. See if that works
what is this, like the saves do you know where the arrows are to get past 100 my save is 117 and I don't know how to get past it

I want to report a bug, when loading a file it will always put me in the morning even though my progress is already in the afternoon or evening, but somehow it still saves that progress even though the date has been reset
I’m still waiting for a big update that will refresh the quest lines and properly reflect the last act.
Someone help me with my saves, I can't get past 99, I have more than 99, how do I get past my saves, do you know where the arrows are to change?
No clue how to fix the menu, but you can probably rename your saves externally to get them to load properly, or use the developer console to manually load it. (The game is written in Ren'Py, so both should be possible with some googling.)

How do i reach the NightBridge event, i just updated but it says still no leads

because i fucked up some of my playthrough by ignoring some situations, such as not choosing to fuck the mom in her daughters bedroom.
Will there be any more Madison content? When chapter 3 started, I went looking for her and wasn't able to find her unlike the other characters from the previous chapters.
Madison is still available, but not in the same capacity as act 2. She is still where you always find her during the days. At the college. However i do believe if i remember correctly you have to progress Act 3 a bit to "find" her
Thank you! She's one of the game's main attractions for me. While sad she's not in as much in act 3, glad she's still around. Just need to put in more effort/game play than I have so far. Again, thank you for your reply.
No problem. I love all the wonderful characters of CK and jumping into Act 3 was actually kinda terrifying with how much happened and not seeing everyone.
Swimming Fanatic Girl and Swimming Zealot Man... for some reason, I feel like I need to attack them with elementally-aligned critters and steal their money. Is that why they have boxes over their heads? So our eyes don't meet? >_>
I haven't had time to install update yet, but I'm sure it will be awesome! I don't know how many times I've said this but I'll say it again because its the truth: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR GAME! YOU ARE AN AMAZING DEVELOPER!

The UI that lets me select where I go and what I dois to the right now and I can't figure out how to adjust it, I don't know what in the world happened
It's a UI update Arc was trying. There's no way for you to adjust it yourself without messing with the game's code.

The new (in 0.22.0) text UI sometimes has still has text run over into the buttons, which can make it difficult to read. Also, some choice menus run off the screen.
